El candidato a diputado federal del PAN por el distrito ocho de esta ciudad, frente a una centena de madres de familia de la colonia Flores Magón, ofreció implementar un programa de becas y transporte gratuito para todos los estudiantes de Morelia.
De acuerdo a un comunicado de prensa, acompañado de la candidata al Senado Joanna Moreno, el diálogo de José Luis González Aguilera con las mujeres jefas de familia de esta colonia de la periferia de Morelia fue mucho más cálido.
“Es verdaderamente ofensivo que se informe de montos de deuda exorbitantes, sin que visiblemente se pueda comprobar el beneficio a los ciudadanos, por lo que mi propuesta es dar un giro al presupuesto y que desde la cámara de diputados se envíen apoyos directos a las mujeres jefas de familia como ustedes”, dijo de manera enfática el líder social.
“Financieramente es posible, sin aumentar presupuesto e impuestos, implementar un programa para que todos sus hijos en edad escolar reciban una beca y que el transporte sea gratuito”, afirmó en medio de la aceptación de las mujeres que salieron un momento de sus casas para escuchar al candidato panista.
“La mejor manera de evitar que los dineros vayan a parar a los bolsillo de funcionarios corruptos, es que vayan dirigidos a ustedes, a la gente” señaló el también Coordinador Nacional del Congreso Agrario Permanente.
Interrogado por su auditorio acerca del paro que actualmente lleva a cabo una fracción de maestros que deja sin clases a cientos de niños de esta colonia, González Aguilera aseveró: “la educación debe ser el principal proyecto de país, donde todos los partidos y toda la sociedad nos involucremos, sin educación no hay futuro para México”.
Enseguida pasó a explicar su propuesta: “El sistema educativo debe ser adecuado a las condiciones de la sociedad actual, maestros bien remunerados y mejor preparados; castigo como en cualquier empleo a quienes abandonen las aulas y una sanción social, no hay nada más lesivo que abandonar a los pequeños dejándolos sin clases”.
“Por cierto -explicó José Luis González Aguilera– la reformulación del sistema educativo también se hace desde la cámara de diputados. Por ello y con el apoyo de ustedes deseo llegar a la cámara baja, para trabajar en beneficio general y para dignificar la imagen del diputado”.
El candidato albiazul retomó su mensaje inicial: “pero el verdadero impacto, lo realmente trascendente es lograr que todas ustedes cuenten con becas para sus hijos y transporte gratuito, que tengan la certeza de que crecerán en una Morelia sana y un México mejor”, finalizó González Aguilera, quien rápidamente se trasladó a visitar a otros ciudadanos del distrito ocho.

While implementing a Hand-Washing campaign at Bimbe Basic School in Zambia, Drexel University
student poses with some of the 300 schoolchildren whom she taught how to properly wash their
hands. The students also learned how to build a "tippy tap," which is a washing facility made from
natural resources that can be built at the household level.

The Imihigo implementing institutions: The purpose of Imihigo is to help institutions constantly improve the well-being of our citizens. Data and ranking must focus not on measuring what institutions do, but rather on the impact their actions have on the ground.
This was right on the main street, and the bench looked like an inviting place to sit in the sunshine and watch the world go by.
This was a photo I took in Ola, Idaho back in July. Since it is a rainy day I decided to play a little with some old photos, and I tonemapped this one with Photmatix and adjusted some in Photoshop.
