A swan lands in front of the bridge to Boathouse Island, where the vista opens through to the University church and the Radcliffe Camera behind. Summer clouds billow and couples enjoy the tranquility before Eights Week starts in a day or two.
But why oh why has someone planted some young trees that will extinguish this view in a few years? Perhaps they have calculated the mature trees will meet anyway, but what will happen is that the view will be contained within University land only, and that is a loss for the public domain.

Midjourney introduced a new feature: retexture. It enables you to maintain an image structure and retexture it. Midjourney calls it "an extremely powerful feature" and I do not disagree.
The series Headshot contains the results of a first experiment with the feature. The original, unretextured Screenpunk image is here.

... Badlands near Red Deer River, Alberta - Canada. Some believe that these sandstone sculptures become giants at night...
The term "badlands" represents a consensus in North America:
the Lakota called the topography "mako sika" and Spanish colonists called it malpaís, both literally bad land, while French trappers called it "les mauvaises terres à traverser" – "the bad lands to cross".
The term is also apt: badlands contain steep slopes, loose dry soil, slick clay, and deep sand, all of which impede travel and other uses. Badlands form in arid regions with infrequent but intense rain-showers, sparse vegetation, and soft sediments: a recipe for massive erosion.
Anxiously awaiting spring.

Variation of a text-prompt generation in AI Deep Dream. The text contained the words HIERONYMUS BOSCH, H.R. GIGER and CRYPTID TAXIDERMY.
Initially, the seed image came from Nightcafe, where it was actually a epic prompt fail, since I asked for something quite different. Here on Text2Dream I ran it with a previously used prompt in Quantum v.2 mode, then upscaled.

"Bathing beauty doing her yoga".

This hyper realist statue makes me think to another statue in almost the same posture : The Seated Scribe !
Just a simple detail : The Seated Scribe has been made in 2450–2325 BC …
"The sculpture of the Seated Scribe … is one of the most important examples of ancient Egyptian art. It represents a figure of a seated scribe at work. The sculpture was discovered at Saqqara in 1850 and dated to the period of the 4th Dynasty, 2620–2500 BCE. It is currently part of a permanent collection of Egyptian antiquities in the Louvre Museum in Paris." Srce Wikipedia.
