Ahora ya estamos en los últimos días, las señales de la segunda venida de Cristo han aparecido básicamente, y muchos creyentes han estado esperando amargamente Su regreso, mirando al cielo todos los días anhelando que venga sobre nubes. Sin embargo, ¿Por qué aún no lo hemos visto descender sobre nubes? Lea a continuación contenido para encontrar la manera del recibimiento al Señor.

Alguien dice que cuando llegue la segunda venida de Cristo, Él vendrá definitivamente con nubes en gran poder y gloria, porque hay muchas profecías así dentro de la Biblia. Por ejemplo, “He aqui, viene con las nubes y todo ojo le verá, aun los que le traspasaron; y todas las tribus de la tierra harán lamentación por El; [...]” (Apocalipsis 1:7). “Entonces aparecerá en el cielo la señal del Hijo del Hombre; y entonces todas las tribus de la tierra harán duelo, y verán al Hijo del Hombre que viene sobre las nubes del cielo con poder y gran gloria” (Mateo 24:30). También, cuando el Señor Jesús resucitó y subió al cielo, un ángel dijo: “Varones galileos, ¿por qué estáis mirando al cielo? Este mismo Jesús, que ha sido tomado de vosotros al cielo, vendrá de la misma manera, tal como le habéis visto ir al cielo” (Hechos 1:11). A la luz de estas profecías, algunos hermanos y hermanas creen que la segunda venida de Cristo en los últimos días será definitivamente que Él venga con nubes.

De hecho, además de los muchos versículos en la Biblia que profetizan que el Señor vendrá abiertamente con nubes, también están las profecías que dicen que el Señor vendrá en secreto como un ladrón. Por ejemplo, “He aquí, vengo como ladrón” (Apocalipsis 16:15). “Por tanto, si no velas, vendré como ladrón” (Apocalipsis 3:3). Y en Mateo 25:6, el Señor Jesús dijo: “Pero a medianoche se oyó un clamor: ‘¡Aquí está el novio! Salid a recibirlo’”. Estos versículos dicen muy claramente que, cuando el Señor regrese, no todos podrán verlo, pero que Él vendrá sin que nosotros lo sepamos. En cambio, Su llegada será anunciada por un grito, es decir, por alguien que nos da testimonio del evangelio del regreso del Señor. Después de escuchar este testimonio, debemos abrir nuestras puertas y recibirlo, y solo entonces podremos dar la bienvenida al Señor. Por lo tanto, podemos confirmar que la Biblia profetiza dos maneras en que el Señor regresará: Una es que el Señor vendrá en el Espíritu, cabalgando abiertamente sobre las nubes, y la otra es que el Hijo del Hombre vendrá en secreto.

Sabemos que el Señor es fiel, y ya sea que profetice que vendrá en secreto o abiertamente con nubes, todo será logrado y cumplido. Entonces, ¿cómo exactamente se van a cumplir estas dos profecías totalmente diferentes? Veamos varios versículos de la Escritura para encontrar la respuesta.

February’s full moon, known as the snow moon, is set to peak on Saturday, shining bright around the world in the night sky.

The moon will be at its most full at 7:30 a.m. ET Saturday, according to EarthSky, but to the human eye, the moon will appear full for a couple of days, so the best time to view it will be the nights before and after its peak.

While called the snow moon — a nickname inspired by the heavy snowfall typically seen in February in parts of the United States, according to the Farmers’ Almanac — the golden orb will look almost like any ordinary full moon. But this moon will be a micromoon, meaning it might look slightly smaller than usual.

“It’s just a little bit farther away from Earth than (the moon) typically is,” said Rachel Klima, a planetary geologist and lunar expert with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland.

“It’s about 10% smaller. So it may look a little bit smaller. But a lot of the time, when people see a really huge moon, it’s usually because it’s low on the horizon, rather than because of the actual distance of it,” Klima said. “(The micromoon) won’t be super, super tiny. It’ll just be a little bit smaller than your average full moon that you look up at.”

The full moon phase occurs when the moon, Earth and the sun are in alignment, in that order. February’s full moon will occur when the moon is at its farthest point from Earth in its elliptical orbit, known as the apogee, Klima said. The micromoon will also be dimmer than the moon typically looks by about 30%, according to EarthSky, allowing for slightly better visibility of nearby celestial objects, without the average luminous interference.

This year, the snow moon will be seen shining next to constellation Leo’s brightest star, Regulus. Near the moon’s peak, on the night of February 23, the star will be seen just below the orb, according to EarthSky.
