La porta de l'Hostal de Pinós és una invitació a la devoció popular. Plena de símbols marians, la Verge queda resguardada en un petit nínxol que porta la inscripció "Nostra Senyora de Pinós" i l'acompanyen els símbols del món a banda i banda.
La llinda de la porta és totalment plena d'inscripcions, sempre referents a la devoció mariana de la comarca: "Alabat sia lo santíssim sagrament per a sempre/ Veritat es que ostal sense diners no donen res. M (signe marià) i la Immaculada Concepció de Maria Santíssima concebuda sense macula de pecat original. L'any 1677. Aquesta inscripció està ocupant tota la llinda i a banda i banda i han els símbols del Sol i la Lluna

Centre de devoció comarcal, el santuari de Pinós s'alça a 904 metres d'altitud, dominant una magnífica panoràmica. El Santuari fou edificat pels templers l'any 1312 i molt aviat passà als Hospitalers. Centre de devocions fou objecte d'importants deixes al llarg dels segles XV i XVI, segle en que la gran devoció popular i l'administrador M. Arcís Garriga iniciaren la construcció de l'actual edifici, així com la casa i l'hostal

On Saturday, I hosted my Curry Class Two, “Hot & Sour,” to a group of enthusiastic students eager to learn how to make authentic Thai curries and other dishes from natural ingredients, without processed foods or condiments. The class is always lots of fun to teach, as students learn the basics of Thai cooking and sometimes experience fresh Thai herbs and spices for the very first time. From these, they learn how to make the essential Thai curry pastes that are the foundation for Green Curry, Massaman Curry, Garlic Pork, Garlic Chicken and Hot and Sour Spicy tiger Prawn Soup. Deep Fried Bananas and Ice Cream make for a cool ending to a very delicious hot and spicy dinner.
The Market Square Farmers’ Market is a open-air farmers’ market located in historic Market Square in the heart of downtown Knoxville.
Hosted by the APG Garrison’s Retirement Services Office and the APG Retiree Council, Retiree Appreciation Day at Aberdeen Proving Ground drew more than 150 area retirees, active duty Soldiers, spouses and survivors to the installation for updates about post and local services and resources, veterans benefits and more. The event was held at the APG North (Aberdeen) recreation center, May 18.

Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch., Commander, Installation Management Command, will host a flag uncasing ceremony for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Oct. 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Joseph W. Westphal, Under Secretary of the United States Army, will be the guest speaker.
The ceremony represents the presence of the installation management community and the assumption of the command's authority in San Antonio. The installation management community includes the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters and two major subordinate commands: U.S. Army Environmental Command and the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command.
IMCOM temporarily occupies leased space in northeastern San Antonio until the new IMCOM Headquarters Building on Fort Sam Houston is completed in October 2011.
Uncasing the flag exemplifies how IMCOM, headquartered in "Military City USA," is transforming to make Army installations the Army's Home.
U.S. Army Installation Management Command Organizational Day Festivities
Soldiers, Civilian employees and their Families took a break from their normal, busy work schedules to participate in team building activities and celebrate the recent transition of the IMCOM headquarters to San Antonio, Texas.
