Hosted by McKenna Cars at the The Thermal Club, the 2016 Thermal Event was a very special thank you to our valued customers! We had a short instruction presentation at the start of the day going over driving techniques, followed by rotating through 4 different driving courses. This included: a drag-strip race in the M4s, a timed event on a smaller track in M3s, then another full-track course to test out the M235i, X6M, and X5M!
March 13, 2013: To reflect on the 10 year anniversary since the war in Iraq, Foreign Policy and the RAND Corporation teamed up to bring together many of the key players who launched, fought, analyzed, and executed the war for a half-day discussion on the lessons learned, and lessons not yet learned, from the battlefields.
Participants included everyone from Bush national security advisor Stephen Hadley and Gen. John Allen to Doug Feith, the controversial Bush Pentagon aide who advocated for the war in 2003, and Paul Pillar, the CIA analyst who later went public with his doubts.

The Bellefontaine High School Wrestling hosted the 10th annual Jimmy Mac Invitational held on Saturday December 11. Named after longtime educator and wrestling coach Jim McDonald who sadly passed 2 weeks prior. The take downs and pins with good matches the tournament did not disappoint. Makayla Young one of Bellefontaine’s female wrestlers is fierce and intimidating as she does her pre-match pace and jumps right in the match with an aggressiveness demeanor; she placed second in her weight class.
The Jimmy Mac award this year was presented to Bart Pattison for his contributions to the wrestling team. Bart has helped the program in many ways; his sons Boris and Bruno were standout wrestlers for the Chieftains .Covington was the overall team winners.
