Jag har två veckors praktik på Länstidningen Södertälje just nu. Passar på att med en dåres envishet återkomma till min främsta guilty pleasure-kategori: höstbilder.

October 10, 2021 - The majority of the smokestack has been demolished and what remains has been turned into a electronic message board. I can't remember the last time I have seen it illuminated of course I don't drive much at night anymore since my retirement.

"The remaining portion of the smokestack to the north of the Ice House was part of the Hoster boiler house. At one time it was the tallest structure in southern Franklin County" Previous text from Columbus Landmarks Foundation's City Hop 2001 program.

Hosted by Josh Gondelman, featuring comedians Roy Wood Jr., Emmy Blotnick, Alison Leiby, and Gary Gulman, with a musical performance by singer-songwriter Laura Stevenson.

Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch., Commander, Installation Management Command, will host a flag uncasing ceremony for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Oct. 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Joseph W. Westphal, Under Secretary of the United States Army, will be the guest speaker.

The ceremony represents the presence of the installation management community and the assumption of the command's authority in San Antonio. The installation management community includes the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Headquarters and two major subordinate commands: U.S. Army Environmental Command and the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command.

IMCOM temporarily occupies leased space in northeastern San Antonio until the new IMCOM Headquarters Building on Fort Sam Houston is completed in October 2011.

Uncasing the flag exemplifies how IMCOM, headquartered in "Military City USA," is transforming to make Army installations the Army's Home.

ESA hosted the Living Planet Symposium on 13–17 May 2019 in Milan, Italy.

The event brought together scientists and users to present their latest findings on Earth’s environment and climate derived from satellite data. It provided an opportunity to introduce missions in development from ESA – such as the Sentinels, Earth Explorers and meteorological missions – as well as from national space agencies.

It was the world’s biggest conference on Earth observation to date.

Covered scientific themes include oceanography, solid Earth and geodesy, atmosphere, climate and meteorology, the cryosphere, hazards, methodologies and products, near-Earth environment and land applications. Special sessions were dedicated to ESA programmes and initiatives, including the Climate Change Initiative and other international cooperation initiatives, as well as the Copernicus environmental monitoring programme.

The symposium followed the previous ones held in Prague (2016), Edinburgh (2013), Bergen (2010), Montreux (2007) and Salzburg (2004).
