Little stone house NW of Waterville, KS. The walls are standing tall but the roof, might as well say "goodbye".
Always interesting people to meet and talk to on a walk around Shoreditch with the camera. All have a story to tell. Sometimes a story of hard times and little hope for the future.

A picture I took a few years ago not to far from my home. It is actually still standing if you call this standing. Always loved old buildings and sometimes I make a effort to get some pictures.
Once a home, now just another plot waiting for an artificial price to build and speculate... These plots can stay under this situation for years and, in my city, there are many in the historical centre contributing also to create insecurity for the aged people which still live there…
The famous house in Winnetka used for the classic 1990 Christmas movie Home Alone.
"Hey, I'm gonna give you to the count of ten, to get your ugly, yella, no-good keister off my property, before I pump your guts full of lead!... 1... 2... 10! Keep the change, ya filthy animal!"
Relief! Raven is home!
Larry and I went this afternoon to pick her up from the hospital.
The vet techs and doctors all told me what a sweet, sweet girl she is, and what a wonderful patient she was.
She was very happy to see us today, although she's still a little doped up.
Now we're back at the shore house, and she's resting comfortably.
As soon as we got back she made a beeline to her favorite spot....her corner of the porch.
We still do not have the results back from the biopsy, and I'll remain anxious until we have a definitive answer, but I can't tell you how happy I am to have her back home with me.
Thank you all for your continued support, prayers and good wishes. You guys are THE BEST! XO

With the housing market in such a crazy state, we have remained here for many months longer than anticipated. However, so glad to have had this little stretch of the Mississippi River to call home.
Played around with lens whacking also known as free lensing where the lens is detached from the camera. It takes a little experimenting and getting used holding the lens in front of the camera. I liked the soft pastel colors of this one. You never know what your going to get.
OK so it not my house. It is a control center for a dam. I returned to this site for star shooting. After driving and setting up, less than ten minutes into the shot a bunch of yahoos came up for some racing. It was pointless to stay so the stack is short. I will return. The potential for greatness can be seen....the sheer volume of stars over a longer time period will make one killer image. decluttr
