Okay, thought it was time to come home for a few memories. Along with our resident Jay we've got a hawk. Seems where we see a hawk there's always a messenger present to warn others so that's surely what the Jay is doing hanging around.
Home isn't always the most fun but it's necessary to make an appearance around the neighborhood now and then to be sure no one has moved in while you're gone. Becoming a bit overgrown we realized that we needed to go next door (a vacant home that's way overpriced and for sale) and clean out the vines that were coming over to try to take our place. So today I'm celebrating with red bug bites (chiggers to you Southerners). If you've never had the pleasure then you've really missed something special. Come on down in the Spring and go walking in the grass out at Brazos Bend and I'm sure you'll find out what they are.

A picture I took a few years ago not to far from my home. It is actually still standing if you call this standing. Always loved old buildings and sometimes I make a effort to get some pictures.
Once a home, now just another plot waiting for an artificial price to build and speculate... These plots can stay under this situation for years and, in my city, there are many in the historical centre contributing also to create insecurity for the aged people which still live there…
It's great to dress smartly for work, yet it's lovely to come home on Friday looking forward to a whole weekend of easy dressing.
Relief! Raven is home!
Larry and I went this afternoon to pick her up from the hospital.
The vet techs and doctors all told me what a sweet, sweet girl she is, and what a wonderful patient she was.
She was very happy to see us today, although she's still a little doped up.
Now we're back at the shore house, and she's resting comfortably.
As soon as we got back she made a beeline to her favorite spot....her corner of the porch.
We still do not have the results back from the biopsy, and I'll remain anxious until we have a definitive answer, but I can't tell you how happy I am to have her back home with me.
Thank you all for your continued support, prayers and good wishes. You guys are THE BEST! XO
