Tender plants protected from the worst of the frosts.

This little fella was hibernating on the road, so I moved him to our backyard where he won't get clobbered over the winter. I had to take a picture first of course. :)

Splitting the night near the speed of light in suspended animation, they dreamt of another time.

I present - my cat, Cirkeline.

I gave her two towels to lie on, presuming that the wooden desk is not the most comfortable thing in the world. Often, she shoves them aside. Oh well, I tried.

 

She turns 18 in March. Grand old lady.
