Exhausted from a long autumn of gutter cleaning, this ladder remains still and dormant in the snow next to the house.

The white floats in the water have netting below the surface to keep the resorts collection of exotic fish in. It's sort of like a giant aquarium in the sea.

Finally the camera's out of the hibernate mode :)

Spotted five sleeping ladybirds whilst walking the dogs this morning not sure how long the leaves will stay on the branches for them though as there were only a couple left

When it's time for hibernation one will fall wherever they need to.

I liked the sunlight coming through the window, seems so cold in there (and it is) yet there is warmth in that light.

This Spicebush Swallowtail pupa is definietely brown, a leaf mimic. We shall see...

I thought about naming this boat the USS Halo. Just pretend that you do not see the unwanted halo effect - LOL!

Look closely, this little bat is hibernating. He has a cloak of moisture covering his body.

These are bad guys. The ones with 7 stars are good guys.

The bears go into hibernation for the move. Some of them weren't particularly happy to be transported in the laundry basket, but given they all survived.
