This is a scarf/neck-wrap thing I'd started making to keep the nape of my neck warm under my favorite hat. Then I got a scarf/hat combo for Christmas and I didn't need this anymore. I can't figure out what to knit with this yarn instead, though, so it remains.
Not sure but I feel this is ready to cocoon itself in hibernation and metamorphose into a beauty sometime later .. Any help on ID would be welcome.

It's cold here - 11 F heading to 3 F tonight.
Karen took the new camera with the gnarly-good Sigma 17-70mm on it and grabbed some nice sleeping shots of Johanna, the cat queen. Johanna was hibernating while the Bears should have been - during the NFL Superbowl.

okay so this is my suggestion for all in the very cold weather!!! make some hot chocolate and cozy up to a nice fire place....avoid going outside!!
