Little D decided that there was just way too much snow and it was too cold for him. He took his bucket of skittles and said he was going in to hibernation until the spring.
Did this for Illustration Friday, a topic-based, weekly challenge that begins every Friday. This week's topic is "hibernation." I had no idea what do draw, so I wiki'ed hibernation, and learned that some birds undergo something similar, but less intense, called "torpor." So I drew a bird catching a z. A special thanks goes out to Alex, for recommending the site. Thanks, dude!

February 2023 (Week 6): My Home
The playground in my neighbourhood appears to be hibernating in the fog of this winter morning.
The PDF of the chart for this project is crap, so I've put it off until I can print it out, or something. It's not even that hard, but I haven't gotten past the first few rows in pattern without losing track of where I am.
March 31..... Spring is here and we are happy to live near such gorgeous hiking and camping opportunities!
A BAT! The caves were full of them. This was taken with the aid of a flashlight and a tour guide who knew where all the bats were.
Taken by Kim Letkeman in Ottawa, ON using a Fujifilm HS10.
"Shot at Dick Bell Park on the Ottawa River. The slips are empty and the boats stored above on frozen land waiting for spring. ISO100, /4.5, 1/500s, 63.8mm (365 equivalent)." - Kim Letkeman
