Here is another view from my shoot at the dunes. This shot was taken towards the East looking away from the main dunes. I like this area for two reasons: 1) it is easier to get to than the main dune area 2) hardly anyone comes here so there aren't any footprints in your shot. The dunes really had nice texture and ripples this year. It really made for nice landscapes.

Here’s another action shot from our trip to Borgarfjarðarhöfn. The only restriction on the amount of time that I could spend watching and photographing these birds was the biting wind. Suffice to say I endured as long as I could.
Literally as I started uploading this shot Whitesnake came on the radio. Juvenile Peregrine Falcon on its second day out of the nest. Every flight is a big adventure.

Why finaly got her new wig. She also got new eyes, but all my dolls changed their eyes since I found a Seller that is creating perfect eyes. I am in LOVE with thoses eyes !

An adult and juvenile Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) look to the sky as a second juvenile is about to fly into the shot. The juvenile was keeping a pretty close eye on it's supper which is a dead Salmon at it's feet.
The two juveniles soon got into a battle over the bait!

The Cathedral of Florence, officially known as Cattedrale Santa Maria del Fiore but better known as the Duomo, was originally planned in 1296 as a Gothic cathedral by Arnolfo di Cambio. It replaced the church of Santa Reparata, a cathedral church with a history going back to the early Middle Ages. Construction of the church would last until 1436 when it was consecrated by pope Eugene IV.
That melody immediately played in my head, because it reminded me of the great Beatles' song, composed by George Harrison.

Here I stay
Here comes a further panorama from that cloudy afternoon at lake Eibsee. At this moment clouds had already rapidly covered a bigger part of the mountains of Zugspitzmassiv but still most of the summits were visible. The panorama was merged from 6 single shots taken in portrait orientation with the 35 mm lens.

Here is a one year anniversary image from our trip to Acadia last summer. This was sunrise along the Atlantic Coast.
I went back to this RAW image and post processed a little more to bring up the overall exposure a little, slight more definition in the shadows, and reduced the clarity setting ... it was too high previously adding some halo that I did not like in the very high contrast areas of the image.
This certainly is an amazing section of coastline ... and I was blessed with such a pretty sunrise.
