Brief morning sunrise at Kedgehook Lake in Quinan

Oceans apart, day after day

And I slowly go insane

I hear your voice on the line

But it doesn't stop the pain

If I see you next to never

But how can we say forever

Wherever you go, whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you

I took for granted, all the times

That I thought would last somehow

I hear the laughter, I taste the tears

But I can't get near you now

Oh, can't you see it, baby

You've got me goin' crazy

Wherever you go, whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you

I wonder how we can survive

This romance

But in the end if I'm with you

I'll take the chance

Oh, can't you see it, baby

You've got me goin' crazy

Wherever you go, whatever you do

I will be right here waiting for you

Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks

I will be right here waiting for you

Waiting for you

It's cloudy and a Little windy but it's also 60 degress out!!!

On a ride around town, I stopped by my friends house and snapped this.

Here's the real reason this so-called Bernie bro cried at the DNC.

Let the end of the world come tumbling down I'll be the last man standing on the ground, as long as hot blood runs through my veins, I'm still alive.

Here are the side cowels and the honrcast after their first coat of hunter green.

I also broke my horn removing the horncast. I unscrewed something that sprung something loose somewhere in the inner working of the horn itself. That was a big let down. But they aren't that expensive. Still, stupid mistakes are costly...

Cosmos still looking so beautiful, no one has told them that summer is long gone.

This was taken at the Pentland Hills Regional Park on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

While much of the UK has experienced pretty severe snow in recent days, we have had relatively little on the East coast of Scotland, so when the snow did come I had to head straight for the hills to capture some shots.

This is a little river flowing next to the car park at the Flotterstone entrance of the park.

It was a dark, grey, cloudy day last Friday, in the aftermath of an overnight and morning snowstorm. I went to the Arboretum after work to get shots of the snow on the trees. While I was there, I decided to go check on a flower bed that I know to have daffodils that have been early risers the past few years. Sure enough, there they were, seemingly unscathed by the snowstorm and with buds that are getting fat. I can't wait for them to open....

Taken late at night, randomly, quite happy, all in camera.

This is my first HDR. Hope you like it!

Here is a view of the back side of the Little Rock, Arkansas Rock Island Depot, Right of Way, or where the rails would have been. You can still see the large Rock Island trestle in the background crossing the Arkansas River.

Here you can see the under-construction 'watersports hotspot' that is being built on the pro at Colwyn Bay. In the background is the Pier which, due to neglect and a long ownership battle in the courts, is not far off falling into the sea

Here is a winged (alate) Termite (order Isoptera) on a seed head of non-native English Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) in the Plantaginaceae plant family. A small swarm of the termites was emerging from somewhere under a nearby Buckwheat shrub, but I was lucky to get a shot of this one by itself. This wasn't a particularly large swarm, compare this photo and this photo. Rain yesterday, termites today - I guess that's how they synchronize their swarms with other termite colonies so that they'll all emerge at the same time, thereby increasing the chance of mating across swarms to form new colonies. Maybe they are Subterranean Termites (family Rhinotermitidae)? I don't believe they damage houses, at least these are far away from any house. I seem to find them in both spring and autumn. I went through my notes, and I have about equal records from October-January and March-May. They seem to have these two distinct mating flights. (San Marcos Pass, 9 November 2020)

We have only had two rain storms since October, with another one predicted for tonight, and in the meantime, the plum trees are making their own decisions about what season it is.
