While weeding this big guy came out and was sunning himself and wouldn't move so I had to give him a little encouragement :D

Okay, I desperately need a camera. I have a bunch of awesome LEGO stuff I've made going back to LAST FALL, including a UCS-style Medieval village and a black stretch-limo spaceship, but I haven't had a real camera in that period. And now they're just sitting on my shelf and I can't break anything down and use the parts on new MOCs, and I can't share my creations with anybody. :C
So, I need you other TFOLs and AFOLs to help me out: what camera should I get? I'd prefer to to spend 100-150 dollars (or less, of course, if that's at all possible), but if necessary, I'll go up to 200 bucks. It needs to take good quality shots of close-up Lego MOCs and such. I desperately need help on this so I don't waste money or go through crap trying to find a camera that's "just right."

During the downtown power outage, many power supply boxes at intersections (for the traffic signals) got a little help. BC Hydro must have run out of portable generators. I saw a least one van parked at an intersection with a power line running from inside it to the traffic signal power supply.

The fourth day of the Help for Heroes Big Battlefields Bike Ride fromParis to London. The day commenced from Le Touquet and proceeded to Etaples, which had been home to the British Army's largest training camp during the Second World War, as well as having military prisons and hospitals. Here, in the War Cemetary at Etaples, in front of a memorial designed by Edwin Lutyens, a wreath laying ceremony was conducted. Lunch was taken just north of Boulogne, beside the Canadian Military Cemetary where Lt. Col. John McCrae was buried and a second wreath laying ceremony was held. Finally, before arriving at Calais, there was a visit to Mimoyecques, an old quarry from which the Germans created a substantial subterranean base, to house their V3 rocket, with which they hoped to destroy London. Friday 31st May 2013.
Please help me ID her. I thought she was Fiona Hamilton from the Runway Gio but she is a bit different. She is taller than my M9 and her head is in a different position. Her arms are probably incorrect because they won't go to her side. They only fit by sticking out as pictured. She just arrived and is making me crazy! Thanks for your help.

I have had some really bad things happen to me over the past week, so I am diving head first into what I know best: my dolls. These dolls were supposed to have outfits made for them, but the person who was supposed to make them is out of my life. Any help would be appreciated! Please note I am on a very tight budget.

I am not a "bird nerd", one of those persons going everywhere with a binocular around their neck and knowing every single little detail about every bird passing by. I find birds very fascinating creatures and some of them are so beautiful to take one's breath away. That's why I photograph them. Even when I do not know which species they are.
GreenDreamsPhotography is a bird nerd :) and is trying since long time to convince me to embrace this "religion". Last attempt has been the promise of buying me dinner at a Japanese place I like, but with one condition: I need to find out which bird is this little fella here :)
