Sometimes when you are eating something and it is not a great taste (jellyfish), it helps to make a straighter passage down the hatch...

Can someone please help me? These green and purple lines appear when I shoot a long exposure image at anything smaller than f/11. I have a Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF). What can I do to stop this...
I use a B+W ND 3.0 77mm
On 4/10/15 volunteers of all ages and ability are needed to help us clean it up. If left the trash it not only choking out all the natural vegetation it is also washing into the stream which flows into Bear Creek and the Chesapeake Bay.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them.

The Father Murphy AC 5 Mile Road Race, Fun Run, and Walk was held in Kildalkey, Trim, Co. Meath, Ireland on Easter Sunday 31st March 2013 at 12 noon.
This is the third successive year when the race has been staged in Kildalkey with races previous to 2011 held in the neighbouring parish village of Ballivor. The routing is a modification on the two previous years. This race combined an open 5 mile race and the annual Meath 5 mile road race championship. Traditionally, this race was held on St. Patrick's Day with the venues moving from Athboy, to Ballivor, to the current location of Kildalkey. This was it's first year having an Easter Sunday fixture.
The very cold weather of late did not deter over 200 runners, joggers, and walkers participating in the event. There were some great post-race refreshments available for competitors in the Kildalkey Community Center afterwards. Well done to everyone involved - from the members of Fr. Murphy AC, to the neighbouring clubs in Co. Meath - all of whom helped to continue to fine tradition that this race has built up over the past number of years. Our set of photographs are mostly from the finish area of the race. Fr. Murphy AC was formed in 1970 from the amalgamation of several smaller local clubs and now offers some very fine facilities to the people of this part of Co. Meath.

How can I get a full resolution copy of these photographs?
All of the photographs here on this Flickr set have a visible watermark embedded in them. All of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available, free, at no cost, at full resolution WITHOUT watermark. We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. We do not know of any other photographers who operate such a policy. Our only "cost" is our request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, Google Orkut etc or (2) other websites, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us. As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

We do not charge for these images. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the image(s) you request are good enough that you would ordinarily pay for their purchase we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

Rockridge BART Station
I parked in the BART lot and took the train to San Francisco. Unfortunatly I did not look at the space number or pay attention to where in the lot I parked. It took me about 20 minutes to find my car.
D802's GEs shove hard on the rear of N956. The helpers are needed to get the coal trains out of the Grand and Thornapple river valleys. They will stay on the train until the grade levels off at Elmdale, where they'll cut off and head back lite to Grand Rapids or West Olive, or right back to Wells at the bottom of Saugatuck Hill, to help another coal train over the summit.

The Red Cross Society donated slate to repair the houses of civilians in the village of Kuhari, which were damaged by shelling during the occupation in March 2022.
