ALE Heavylift performed a movement of an electrical transformer weighing in at around 230 tonnes from Stella (Blaydon) to Wallsend overnight from 15th August to 16th August. On arrival at Swan Hunters in Wallsend it's to be shipped by barge to Ellesmere Port where it will be put back on the road to be taken to its destination of Oldbury. Seen at the North End of the Tyne Tunnel at East Howdon, the convoy is seen waiting to continue along Hadrian Road to Wallsend. The move was powered by a pair of ALE Trojan 8870 trucks with BX64KSE at the front with BX65OAW powering from the rear.
SAL Heavylift are a Singapore based company operating a fleet of 16 heavy left ships, the MV Svenja being one.
Here she is in the Nieuwe Waterweg opposite Hoek van Holland at dusk.
The crane in the middle is not part of the ship but rather it's cargo

ALE Heavylift performed two moves from Siemens on Shields Road in Walkergate to Neptune Energy Park in Low Walker for loading onto a barge. ALE Trojan 8870 BX65OAZ is seen in Low Walker turning from Welbeck Road on to Fisher Street.

A 180 ton automotive metal press being loaded on board of the Rickmers Singapore.
This unit is part of a number of presses that originate from the Ford plant at Genk (Belgium) which was closed at the end of 2014. The presses will be discharged at the Chinese port of Ningbo.
