Its not all tea breaks these two are both unloaded and riding high and empty, Baltic Skipper sailed on last nights tide and EEMS Dart goes out on this mornings......

 

BALTIC SKIPPER (IMO 9138185, MMSI 275515000) is a General Cargo Ship built in 1997 (28 years old) and currently sailing under the flag of Latvia. Her length overall (LOA) is 82.61 meters and her width is 12.3 meters.

 

EEMS DART 9195640 is a Multipurpose and HeavyLift Carrier, built in 2002 (23 years old). It's sailing under the flag of Gibraltar. Her length overall (LOA) is 88.6 meters and her width is 12.6 meters.

When it’s time to go, it’s time to GO. A C-17 crewed by the C17 West Coast Demonstration Team departs from Ellington Field in Texas. The crew is comprised of members from the 62nd and 446th Air Wing out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Without delving deep into history and politics, let's just say I'm a firm believer in dreams and oppose myths, especially national myths. The latest invasion is clearly fueled by myths, as clearly as was the one that happened 30+ years ago.

 

Here, a heavy transport aircraft Antonov An‍-‍225 Mriya (Dream) during boarding (although probably not at that time) 140 tons heavy power transformer made by Končar Power Transformers for the Philippine San Lorenzo power plant. The flight shortened the delivery time from 40-45 days to just two.

NATO Boeing C-17A (080001) SAC 01 Globemaster III taxis through a rainbow on its way to the end of the runway with a cargo of two SweAF UH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters at the conclusion of Ex Joint Venture 2016.

EN: In front of the historic heavylift crane "Goliath" and the "Speicher 7", which has been converted into a hotel and office building, 294 857 is performing its daily shunting duties at "Handelshafen" (commercial port) in drizzling snow.

G-HEVY. Gatwick 8th April 1995. Originally delivered to Continental Airlines in December 1966.Then flew with Varig from 1973 to 1990. Had left the Heavylift fleet by March 1996.

Flying Fish!

The Guppy was a regular visitor to Altus AFB, as we had a large enough hangar for NASA to perform some necessary maintenance. It was great seeing it.
