ALE Heavylift performed a movement of an electrical transformer weighing in at around 230 tonnes from Stella (Blaydon) to Wallsend overnight from 15th August to 16th August. On arrival at Swan Hunters in Wallsend it's to be shipped by barge to Ellesmere Port where it will be put back on the road to be taken to its destination of Oldbury. Seen at the North End of the Tyne Tunnel at East Howdon, the convoy is seen waiting to continue along Hadrian Road to Wallsend. The move was powered by a pair of ALE Trojan 8870 trucks with BX64KSE at the front with BX65OAW powering from the rear.

EI-BND was the unique Conroy Skymonster, a conversion of a standard CL-44 with an outsize fuselage. It was originally designed specifically to ferry Rolls-Royce RB.211 engines from Belfast to Palmdale for Lockheed TriStar production, but later found a useful role as a general transport for any outsize cargo.
ALE Heavylift performed two moves from Siemens on Shields Road in Walkergate to Neptune Energy Park in Low Walker for loading onto a barge. ALE Trojan 8870 BX65OAZ is seen in Walkergate turning from Coutts Road onto the Fossway.
The vessel is seen here at the Autrichehaven at the port of Terneuzen, loading a Terex-Gottwald crane bound for Tanzania.
The two Liebherr cranes were loaded in Rostock and bound or the U.A.E.
