A surprise for me today when I travelled to work was at first seeing one of the ALE Trojans parked up with hazards on whilst parked on the Eastbound carraigeway of the A1058 Coast Road in Wallsend. About 2 miles further West I got a bigger surprise when I found the Unipower parked up broken down at the side of the A1058, this time on the Westbound Carriageway, I suspect the Trojan seen earlier was moved to a location so it wasn't in the way of traffic whilst the Unipower waited for assistance. However finding the Unipower allowed me to get some daylight shots of it.

The "Jumbo Kinetec" is a conventional heavy lift vessel but in its class, it presently has the the largest lifting capacity in the world.
The vessel was built in Croatia and then sailed to China to have the two Huisman cranes installed.
When you have a (combined) lifting capacity of 3000 tons, the spreader bar has to be of similar capacity.
The vessel is in Antwerp to load powerplant equipment and is seen here at a lay by berth at the ABES Terminal at the 5th Haven dock preparing for the cargo.
It came in from Rostock where it loaded two Liebherr port cranes destined for India.
