Behind is sister ship G-BEPE, the former RAF XR362. WFU at SEN 28Oct84 and scrapped on 18Feb94.
Delivered to the RAF on 29Mar66 as XR368 and operated by 53 Squadron. Sold onto the UK civil register as G-BEPS to Pan African Freight Liners on 06Apr77. To Heavylift Cargo Airlines 04Sep78. Last flight 30Apr01 and stored at Souhend. Scrapped Mar08.

Seen earlier today, P547HNT was delivering a 130ton Siemens Electrical Transformer to a North London sub-station.

Built in 1977 by Cant. Nav. Solimano, Savona (yard no. 51) as LUIGI G. MELLONI. Entered service as ESPRESSO SPECIAL. Equipped with two 150 tonne derricks. Renamed CAROL LIFT in 1983.
Renamed YVER in 1985, SEA LIFT in 1991 and ASTRA LIFT in 1993. Acquired by Middlevels Shipping (Sunscot & Co Ltd, managers) in 2000 and renamed MULTI LIFT under Bahamas flag. Broken up in November 2000.

Global Crane Services Liebherr LR1750-2 lifting an electrical grid transformer from the cargo vessel Waterway at Aberdeen Harbour a few weeks ago.
A bit unusual having the LR complete with the ballast wagon on the quayside in Aberdeen but glad it finally made a visit!
