First time it happened in my (not-so-long photography) life ... the moment I spotted her laying on the grass resting, I "saw" the photo in my mind: I knew exactly what I had to do and how to do it. Unbelievable.

The green light chase is one of the most famous scenes from the film where Vic, played by Tom Conti tries to prove to Helen Mirren's character (Ruth Chancellor) that he is capable of performing miracles. To do this he pushes down the accelerator pedal of her car and one by one the traffic lights turn green at each junction as they get to them.
They travel down Renfield street and cross each junction until they reach the junction of Gordon street.

While we were going through heatwaves yesterday it was snowing across southern australia where it was 40 C a day or two earlier
This was on a rather cool morning only -7 C at the top of one of australia`s best ski runs just after first light and all the top skiers were out training
Just caught these guys
This picture was taken on one of the most memerable flights of my piloting career. We flew over the pole from JFK to HKG on a 15 hour flight. We had the opportunity to fly through the aurora twice. Once in Northern Canada, and a second time on the other side of the pole, just North of the Russian coast. We were flying at 34,000 ft. I have never felt this close to the Aurora as we passed underneath just prior to reaching landfall over Northern Russia. The colors and the movement of this aurora was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed on our planet Earth! Sorry for the reflections from the overhead instrument panel, that was unavoidable.
One of the street scenes shows a newspaper seller on a street corner. I tracked this down to the corner of Victoria road and Alison street in Govanhill.

Ling Sen Tong is a Buddhist/Taoist cave temple located at the foot of a limestone hill in Ipoh, Perak. The name literally translates as 'Rock of Heavenly Spirits'. It is located next to Nam Thean Tong and Sam Poh Tong Temples just off the Jalan Gopeng (Gopeng Road) to the South of Ipoh.
Taken at the Kyoto Botanical Garden. This sorairoasasagao, which means in Japanese "sky-color-morning-glory and is called in English morning glory or heavenly blue, continue to bloom for longer hours than the normal morning glory, I mean to say, not only in the early morning.
Kyoto is surrounded by mountains. Far beyond can be seen the hieimountain, which I have climbed many years ago.
