Happy Christmas Flickr people. I've went AWOL on flickr some time ago but hope to bob back in more frequently soon. Enjoy the festive period. (This is a bit of a cliched shot but I have to admit to have been thrilled to have seen it on an icy winter's day in Scotland.)

The waxy Anthuriums, I got them in a mixed bouquet, ever so slightly pink… aahhh when the creative juices flow, I can't stop myself, I'd work day AND night, lol… and often, I DO!,

Kusawa Lake is one of many large, long and narrow glacier-fed alpine lakes in the southern Yukon, most of which are part of the Yukon River system. Kusawa means "long narrow lake" in the local Tlingit language. We are looking south where the lake meanders from here over a length of 75 km (47 mi) through the mountains in the north of the Boundary Ranges. We spotted the bay in the foreground from our elevated campsite on the opposite side of Kusawa Lake and thought it deserved further exploration. We called it 'Heart Bay' for its obvious shape. I published a top down photo of the bay before but I thought it also looks good with the lake and mountains in the background.
I loved how branches hung over this path lined with cow parsley and only noticed not one but two heart shapes when I got home and looked closer at the image.
