I have never seen such a perfectly heart-shaped burning-red autumn leaf. I found it in my neighbour street this morning.

I found a lot of heart shaped leaves in the bush today. We don't have big forests but more "bushes". Leaves are too small (only a few mm or 0.02 inches each) to recognise and I guess people normally miss them. I tried to identify this plant but couldn't. Most of the heart shaped leaves have stems at the top of their heart shape, not like those ones, at the bottom. Anyone has any idea?

(our bushes catch fires once in a while and cause disasters, too. We had planned fire today. So smoky in the city area)

This tiny little pond caught my attention, not only for the fall colors surrounding it, but also because of it's shape, which looked like a heart to me.

Rosebud is a pink Fancy Leaf caladium variety. Its pink, heart-shaped leaves just beg for a closer look. The medium green leaves have a bright, pink center and frosty white halo. Love the abstract patterns!

It was going to be Boo holding a miniature bunch of heart shaped roses... particularly as the terrible two made short work of my heart shaped bouquet.. but we got there in the end!! This is Azizi the lesser tenrec enjoying his rose bouquet for Valentines. He is scenting the flowers.

I don't know what species of palm or plant it is, but I liked how the lines of this large leaf converged in the center to form a shape resembling a heart.

My last "finished already on Friday" MM photo was a singularity, I assume. Because here I am back with my usual last-minute routine. My "In a Bottle" image is neither particularly creative nor is it an all-new setup. In fact, it is pretty similar to the setup of my image for "Stacked" (which you can find in the first comment if you like). I simply couldn't think of anything very original for the theme, but I knew I wanted to use a tiny (2 cm / 0,78 inches high) perfume sample bottle that must be decades old. The fragrance is "Le Dix" by Balenciaga, and it's not exactly my favourite fragrance (I prefer fresh, grassy, airy fragrances), but the bottle itself is too cute and special – so it's a keeper. You've already seen the perfume bottle's cap as "mushroom" in April 2019's "Bottle Cap" theme (please check the first comment as well).

So here's my little spring bouquet with a super simple setup: perfume sample bottle with (already slightly shrivelled, but that adds texture) random berries taken from the weekend bouquet bought at our local weekly market, placed on a glossy black tile, gold-coated cardboard placed behind the small scene, yellow light from the left, white light from the right, that's it. Processed in Analog and Color Efex.

HMM, Everyone! (I'll catch up with you tonight!)

Heart-shaped metal necklace, a gift to my daughter. I choose to add this one, where the blue effect is due to one of the filters commonly found on photo editing apps.
