HDR shot taken while on a balloon ride above Cappadocia. The landscape was formed by volcanic activity and erosion over time.
HDR shot on tripod -2,0,+2
Had the idea for a long time to visit these dunes at sunrise, but once the the day comes and I'm warm and comfortable in my bed I let it slide. Not today, got up at 05:30 and was standing with my tripod in the sand at 06:00. Amazing feeling being all alone over there, it is so quite at the start of a new day away from the city.
No gradiant added, only tonemapping, the colors are real.
Single RAW HDR shot of Nathan Road in Mongkok, Kowloon.
Nathan Road is a very busy stretch of road that is teeming with shops, restaurants and tourists. The small pedestrian median where I was standing is only about 3ft. wide, just enough to avoid being side-swiped and become a human pinball between different lanes of traffic... remember to stay very still!
*Note: The 'band of light' in the foreground was from the overhead traffic lights.*

My final HDR shot from down by Pismo Beach Golf Course. This one blended together rather nicely. I love the colors and their contrast with each other.

HDR shot of a small bridge made for pedestrians used to link the top of the castle's hill and one of the roads a bit downwards. I like the effect and feel that the sunset light gives.
Made it in Explore, #270, November 3rd 2008.
7XP HDR shot of the Rubber Duck art installation from Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Glad to have caught a glimpse before the Rubber Duck left!

Another non hdr shot just a little touch up on the light, this will form part of my Non Hdr set)
Another HDR shot from yesterday. This scene has been begging to be shot for a while, but kind of hard to do justice without HDR.
Does anyone have any suggestions for eliminating the lightening around the tree?

Non-HDR shot taken a few nights ago after work. This is looking towards Tokyo Station on my way to the pool from the office.
So much nicer/modern looking now with the high rises dotted around the station. 18 years ago when I first started working here, most/all buildings were restricted to 10 floors or so around the Station.
Otemachi, Japan.
HDR shot taken Saturday morning at Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire. Three exposures, bracketed two full stops either side of normal, taken with a Sigma 10-20mm borrowed from Jonny2005. Processed in Photomatix.
HDR shot with the old Norman tower of Cetara and Salerno in background.

A HDR shot of 3 x 25mm cctv images of the view from Bench Tor from last night ... edited in photoshop to try and bring out some sharpness that was lost in the sun flare ...
3 exposure HDR.
Shot from the Bunkyo civic center observatory.
This wasn't particularly easy to take due to the observatory being busy (hard to get a window spot) and the fact that they do not allow tripods in the observatory (security guys come around and tell you off in Japanese).
In the end I managed to balance the camera pointed in the right direction (on the folded over camera strap) and then triggered the 3 exposures remotely.
If anyone else goes there to shoot HDR then I recommend taking a camera bag (or even better a small bean bag) to balance your camera on.
One of the many shots taken in Italy. Despite appearances, this is not an hdr shot. The textures on this lovely old building were beautiful enough on their own, without interference from me!
Processing started on the PS Touch app for kindle and finished off on the desktop version. Very useful being able to edit in bed! haha! Back very soon ;-)
This is an HDR shot of three exposures (-2, 0 +2) combined in Photomatix & enhanced the sharpness in Lightroom a bit.
I'm not an expert in HDR processing, I'm just trying, If you could spot anything that i can improve, please let me know ;)
And yes the shot was taken in the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman.

This is HDR shot from Lachlan, one of my contacts, www.flickr.com/photos/49753370@N07/ he wanted it turned into an OOB.... never again... lol... Boats, rigging and the lasso tool in photoshop do not mix!!!
So this is what you get Lock!. I added a nice little bit of 'flood' to the bottom.
Below is a selective colour one.
Cheers Lachlan and sorry its a bit late, your email got tied up in the spam folder.... dont know why..... ;-)

Chester is very beautiful city and its even better at night time around Christmas. The above image was taken as a 7x HDR shot processed using Adobe Lightroom and the new Photomatix v5.0 using the exposure blending option (to give the most natural HDR shot possible).
Non-HDR shot taken with my trusty waterproof Pentax Optio W60 of Austin playing in one of the *many* pools here at the Pacific Islands Club (PIC) in Guam.
***Bandwidth here in Guam is unsurprisingly *slow*. Am averaging ~ 55kb/sec speeds, so am gonna have to wait until were back this weekend to catchup on everyone's great photostreams.
HDR shot with a continuos florissant ring light source. Three exposures in one stop increments.
