HDR shot of a small bridge made for pedestrians used to link the top of the castle's hill and one of the roads a bit downwards. I like the effect and feel that the sunset light gives.
Made it in Explore, #270, November 3rd 2008.
My final HDR shot from down by Pismo Beach Golf Course. This one blended together rather nicely. I love the colors and their contrast with each other.

This is a HDR shot of Mt Sopris as viewed from Hwy 82 between Carbondale and Basalt, CO.
This was a beautiful fall day and made for one of my favorite shots.

Glad to have caught a glimpse before the Rubber Duck left!

Taken on Saturday 16th April 2016 of Chester Cathedral. This is a 7x bracketed HDR shots (-3 to +3) taken with a Canon 5d Mark III with a Canon 11-24mm (at 11mm). Each of the 7x shots was processed using the Adobe Lightroom HDR merge feature.

HDR shot taken Saturday morning at Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire. Three exposures, bracketed two full stops either side of normal, taken with a Sigma 10-20mm borrowed from Jonny2005. Processed in Photomatix.
one of the nicest treasure found during the "lunatic tour"
the title may sound trite but there was nothing else I could think of while shooting and later, during processing.
BTW, Pink Floyd music was playing all the way during the tour

Non-HDR shot taken a few nights ago after work. This is looking towards Tokyo Station on my way to the pool from the office.
So much nicer/modern looking now with the high rises dotted around the station. 18 years ago when I first started working here, most/all buildings were restricted to 10 floors or so around the Station.
Otemachi, Japan.
This is an HDR shot of three exposures (-2, 0 +2) combined in Photomatix & enhanced the sharpness in Lightroom a bit.
I'm not an expert in HDR processing, I'm just trying, If you could spot anything that i can improve, please let me know ;)
And yes the shot was taken in the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman.

Was making my way out of the office this evening and was treated to a surreal sky as Typhoon #9 was barreling down on Tokyo.
This marks the first post using my new Lumix DMC-LX5. Bought it because my old Lumix was starting to show its age after 3 years of dependable use (that's the excuse I gave myself in upgrading to the latest Lumix ;-)
Non-HDR shot taken overlooking the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station as Typhoon #9 blows through.

A HDR shot of 3 x 25mm cctv images of the view from Bench Tor from last night ... edited in photoshop to try and bring out some sharpness that was lost in the sun flare ...
My first Flickr Explore Image!! Thanks for the amazing feedback on this photo and the warm welcome to Howard and Caz's Gallery. Honored and grateful to you all! This is an HDR shot taken while walking around Amsterdam from the church in Dam Square (Nieuwe Kerk). The processing is with some new techniques that have been recently shared and I'm loving the results. The shot itself I feel lucky. I had to put the camera on the ground facing up and snap the 5 exposures using the timer, trying not to move the camera and not knowing what the framing was going to look like. Fun stuff and worth it seems :-) A special thanks to Jeff S. Photography for taking the time to critque some of my work and provide amazingly useful guidance to push my images to the next level.
5XP HDR shot of the Atlas statue located in Manhattan, New York.
This is an image of the bronze Atlas sculpture located at Rockefeller Center. It depicts the Ancient Greek Titan holding the heavens and the North-South axis on Atlas' shoulders point towards the North Star. I especially like the warm glowing light... almost like from the depths of Hell... or maybe my imagination is just running wild, lol

3 exposure HDR.
Shot from the Bunkyo civic center observatory.
This wasn't particularly easy to take due to the observatory being busy (hard to get a window spot) and the fact that they do not allow tripods in the observatory (security guys come around and tell you off in Japanese).
In the end I managed to balance the camera pointed in the right direction (on the folded over camera strap) and then triggered the 3 exposures remotely.
If anyone else goes there to shoot HDR then I recommend taking a camera bag (or even better a small bean bag) to balance your camera on.

This is a huge panorama. I took 48 images that turned into 16 HDR shots (3 exposures each) and then I stitched them together in Photoshop.
One of the many shots taken in Italy. Despite appearances, this is not an hdr shot. The textures on this lovely old building were beautiful enough on their own, without interference from me!
Processing started on the PS Touch app for kindle and finished off on the desktop version. Very useful being able to edit in bed! haha! Back very soon ;-)
This is HDR shot from Lachlan, one of my contacts, www.flickr.com/photos/49753370@N07/ he wanted it turned into an OOB.... never again... lol... Boats, rigging and the lasso tool in photoshop do not mix!!!
So this is what you get Lock!. I added a nice little bit of 'flood' to the bottom.
Below is a selective colour one.
Cheers Lachlan and sorry its a bit late, your email got tied up in the spam folder.... dont know why..... ;-)

Non-HDR shot taken with my trusty waterproof Pentax Optio W60 of Austin playing in one of the *many* pools here at the Pacific Islands Club (PIC) in Guam.
***Bandwidth here in Guam is unsurprisingly *slow*. Am averaging ~ 55kb/sec speeds, so am gonna have to wait until were back this weekend to catchup on everyone's great photostreams.
Non-HDR shot taken from the window seat of the 747 we were flying up to Hokkaido in for my last snowboard trip of the Season.
Try clicking on the "map" button over on the right under "Additional Information" to see where I was when taking this pic.
Tokyo Bay, Japan.
First post of an in-camera HDR shot. The new Pentax K-7 takes 3 shots with one shutter release and combines them into one picture using camera firmware. Interesting in that the mirror stays up the entire time too, as it doesn't when I'm shooting under 'auto-bracket'.
This shot was using 'HDR 2' which is a stronger form over 'HDR 1'. No Photomatix was used in this, I went straight to Photoshop and have to say I'm impressed with the results and will probably start shooting more often this way.
In-camera HDR shot taken again from our balcony at the Pacific Islands Club in Guam.
5XP HDR shot of Kowloon Station from Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
Timed this to capture the "<3 HK" lights from the ICC Building.

First HDR shot taken with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35.
Bought this because of its wider 25mm wide-angle lens, auto-bracket capability, and small size. Should be a good camera to keep with me at all times to get a wider range of shots off than my Canon IXY 910S (still a great camera, but no auto-bracketing) and Pentax K10 (awesome camera but too big to lug around to-from work).
3xp HDR shot taken freehand of the Imperial Palace's moat with the Hibiya business district on the other side.
Tokyo, Japan.
HDR shot for MY my friend KAWASAKI NINJA ZX6R i took 3 different Exposure and merged them in photomatix then some edits in lightroom .

Please... press [L] to fully appreciate it. It's a combination of five HDR shots, each of them composed by three different exposed shots. It was a hand-held shot so, luckily, it was almost well aligned.
****************************
This HDR shot was taken in the fast eroding Castner Glacier Cave. The cave was around 300 ft just one month ago, but now it is around 100 ft. By next summer it will be gone.
