These photos was captured during last 13th General Election of Malaysia 2013. During the election campaign period at that time, many street in penang has been swamped with blue 1Malaysia Flags. All this while these pic was kept inside harddisk portable for almost 5years never posted before. The coming soon 14th General Election2018 just around the corner, and now i guess the best time to bring them out.

Another blast from the past. When I was cleaning the harddisk of my laptop, I stumbled across this picture of Mouse. Here he is six months old, almost the same age as his baby Faddle. Mouse has grown into a gorgeous ragdoll adult and we are so curious to see how Faddle will mature. We hope to be able to keep to in the loop on this process.

my old HDD, looks pretty new from the inside.

This is a nose sniffing at such close proximity that even a hair would look like a boulder. And it's tracing marks invisible to the naked eye, pushing and pulling beauty, ugliness, love, hate, science, art and all the things that form our digital lives.

"old" pic, found on my harddisk lying around.

After some sunny days, clouds and rain. Some dark clouds are following me: my harddisk broke down, with all my pictures of 2010. Did not make a back up, stupid! Hope that some wizzkid can fix it, otherwise it is really a shame and one week in this project is lost, besides my pics of South Africa.........

Strobist info, SB900 from the right.

LaCie states that you can staple multiple drives. Although it looks cool I'm a little worried about the heat the upper drive has to take from the lower one. Time will tell ... ;-)

The front and bottom are made of metal. The rest of the casing is made of plastic. The drives look really nice and even the plastic parts look good.

An old favourite of mine, played this for many many hours over the years! It's a real classic old school computer game, hard disk of course!

Hard Drive unit. Pity this unit only had one platter/disc.

My external harddisk is acting up and taking creative liberties with some of my photos, rearranging the 1's and the 0's at random.

Today I found this in my harddisk.

Taken on 2007 Christmas

and I've totally forgotten.

3TB Seagate 7200.14 crashed a couple weeks ago. Salvaging what's left to salvage.

Seagate, never again.

Shooting from the hip. Then, later....

Flawed human technology meets coincidence and I, the midwife, help deliver a screaming bundle of baby called Art. [cue solo violin on hilltop please...]

Found this when I was cleaning my harddisk.

Located after 4 hours boat ride from Kuala Tahan jetty in National Park (Taman Negara) Pahang. This small waterfall is best visited in February or March. If we go during dry season (April-May) there won't be good stream of water for photography or fun.

In the pouring rain. Also in a moving (now parked) car on batteries

That hard disk is running. Surprisingly, it started picking up errors after a few minutes - before slowly grinding its way towards a hard crash...

Had a few old hard disk drives to get rid of at the office. My normal method of wiping the data is to open the drives, grab the magnets for geocaches and then screw up the platters before passing what's left on for recycling or disposal. On the other hand, I can pause part way through and make a cool photo with two hard drives opened up and facing each other. Quite the challenge keeping the reflections under control - those platters are the shiniest things ever.
