Severe headcrash.
In fact... Where is the head? This harddisk has ground its entire head into dust, leaving nothing but the rod that used to connect to it. Yep, data is gone :)
The devices in this series of images are a floppy disk and a hard disk drive. The damage was caused by a 55 grain cal. .223 slug traveling at 3,280 f.p.s. and impacting with, approximately, 1,283 ft.–lbs. of energy.

Since my iBook dont have a DVD burner and I needed to burn a DMG file I took a USB harddisk case and used the USBIDE converter on my sisters DVD burner :P
For years I have kept one external hard drive at home and one in my locker at work, in case my house burns down... :B
But I went to Greece on 13-Sep-2025, only days after russia started groping Poland. I wondered if shit would hit the fan very quickly, ie if maybe several European countries would get attacked while I was away, and I'd be stuck in Greece, and Gothenburg (incl my house and my workplace) would get bombed to shit.
So I got a third hard drive. :D

The passport is more of a just-in-case thing. I don't know if it would be legally or practically possible for me to leave Sweden in case of an invasion, and I hope I would dare to stay and throw rocks at the invaders anyway.
But it doesn't hurt to lug the little passport around on the off chance that fleeing would seem like a good idea. :p I won't bring it on my next wannabe-ultralight multi-day hike, however...
The passport is also good to have around in case a "Midnight in Tokyo" situation arises. %D

I'm using a 750GB SATA2 harddisk.
I took this shot with a compact camera, with force flash at 1/60 shutter and i diffused the flash myself with some homemade stuff.
My cousin requested me to install some software on her newly acquired laptop. The work was easy and quick with the use of my portable harddrive.
No lo se la verdad, pero me han dicho que como lo tienen que enviar a la casa, Maxtor, pueden tardar de 15 dias a 2 meses... deprimente.
Another Closeup of the CPUs, this time with the two lower HardDisks. Notice the fan on the right side: There is another one on the opposite side, both suck air into the case, cooling both disks and the CPUs. I replaced the standard fan with a bigger version. I felt this was needed with this configuration.
