June 24 was my son Tazrian's birthday ( he is now officially 3 years old ).
Whole day we had fun together, and in the evening I was supposed to take everyone out for a fun dinner.
At about 8.30 pm, when I was leaving my hospital, a lovely child of about same age as my son came in with a knife injury in the eye. Some how he fell on a kitchen knife while playing which deeply lacerated his right eye.
I had to go back to OT for the emergency surgery which took me about two hours. And all the while the tear stricken faces of the unfortunate parents were going through my mind.
By the time, I got back home, Tazrian was in deep sleep. I could not take him to the promised 'evening out', but I hope that someday he would really understand the reason.
Please, please save some of your prayers for that little unfortunate boy and my son!
Today is my birthday. I was born the first january of 1992.
So... happy birthday for me and happy new year for all of you.

Happy Birthday GummyWorm! We're not super close at all but you are one of my contestant in my BNTM. And I don't wanna call you on your real name cuz' tbh, I don't really know that your name is Hannah so I just wanna call you GummyWorm. Anyways, Happy Birthday~ I hope you like this!
I am so distraught over Echo...she's really having a tough time battling the salmon poisoning. We brought her home [from the vet] last night at 8: 30pm but I could tell that she was not feeling well and very dehydrated from diarrhea and not drinking water so took her to ER at 2am so she could be put back on IV liquids.
I'll pick her up at 7am and transfer to my regular vet for another day of being attached to IV- antibiotics. I just can't sleep so have been passing time here on Flickr.
I wish she'd bounce back ---even a little bit. She has no interest in eating and seems very lethargic. Please keep her in your prayers.
Today is my dad's birthday! Happy 88th to him--we'll be celebrating w/ entire family tomorrow.
Echo update: She finally ATE food, and tore out her catheter at the vet --began barking to be let out so they knew she was well enough to go home which is where she is now. Hooray that Echo is feeling better. Whew! What an ordeal that was.
TGIF! Have a great weekend. I will comment when I get home from work. Geesh, I feel like a broken record saying that every day. LOL! Have a good one!
This is for my niece's birthday, she loves her camp in Maine and the fabric is American Jane Happy Campers. The embroidery is an Aunt Martha pattern.
It is icy cold and the pond and fountain are frozen. However, the cold cannot really touch me; when I'm girly I always feel warm and happy.
