Happy New Year!
This year is such a mixture of new & old things. Some things around me have changed and there is probably no going-back for them and some are probably the best things I have ever encountered in my life. Despite of being ridiculously laggard and still procrastinating just as much as last year of whether lives or the screwed-up school work, I hope I will be able to at least change the minimal bit of them. Before 2011 I never would have believed that I can actually create and make art through the most awesome thing in the universe, photography. Thank you so much for those who are always there to talk and to inspire, you guys are phenomenal.
For those whe were tagged (not in particular order, and I'm sorry that for some reasons I couldn't find few people's name in the tagging box) some of you are already there since the beginning and some of you are always not shy of giving me suggestions and support and are inspiring. Let's make something big work this year guys, I love you all (:
New year's eve: I basically sat in movie theater watching The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo during the new year count down. I don't know why but I never feel like really excited when I stood in crowds counting three, two and one...knowing a whole new year that is time to set some goals and make yourself a better person is coming seems very enough for me, so this year while almost half of people in the movie theater were rushing out around 11:57 p.m. to count together (the movie was still playing), I decided not to go and to finish the movie. The movie was absolutely fantastic and breathtaking and I'm quite satisfied with my decision. After that we went to drink and chill on the rooftop, it was freezing cold yet sweet and was good time.

Kayaking is an amazing way to explore the unique lagoons in Iceland. One goes through small and big ponds which are connected by narrow canals. It is very safe and the depth is around 5 feet.
That's us...me and my husband. Must confess I was quite apprehensive in the beginning but as soon as I sat in the kayak and started moving it was great fun. This is around 9.30pm....the joys of being in Iceland in summer.
