Who would have thought that a kitchen remodeling project started in early November (with a contractor promised finish date by TG - a week later at the very latest) would drag out until the New Year? With Thanksgiving and Christmas thrown in, it's been hectic. I WILL get to your photostreams. But in the meantime, my wife and I would like to send our wishes for a safe, happy and healthy New Year. Thanks for all your visits and comments.

One of my earlier family portrait shoots. Mrs Freemantle wanted some family portraits done, so I obliged. She had a cool backdrop wall that I took advantage of.
Happy 300th birthday to Maria Theresa!
Born on May 13, 1717, Maria Theresa was Archduchess of Austria for 40 years, between 1740 to 1780.
The sunny color yellow makes me happy. It is just weed, but it is great to see a yellow field along the ditch.
Do his eyes have to be open for the Happy Friday shot? This was the question I asked myself this morning lol. I thought this was too cute not to share though. His eyes were closed during the entire zoomy session- blind zoomies, I guess you'd call them :)

Happy Halloween everyone. We saw a brilliant cake shop in Oxford a couple of weeks back and they had these great cakes in them in preparation for Halloween. The shop was in the Covered Market in Oxford, just north of the High Street. They have a facebook page at:

Well, appropriately enough, flickr seems to have the gremlins tonight. Either it's their servers, or the routing or our service provider - who knows. Either way, I may have to catch up with you later since the gremlins are making everything slooooooooo-oh-ooooooooow.

Omg ok two amazing things happened today.
1. I got my SLR camera, the beautiful Canon EOS 550D, it is so so pretty, wont get to use her till xmas day tho.
2. I got featured on this new Irish Blog pufferfish.ie that post work by independent artists from all over Ireland. Im over the moon, never thought something like this would ever happen to me. They found me through my flikr, I didnt even have to do anything.
