hey there flickr! after the holidays, a baby shower for my baby sister, getting back to work and then a sickness, i'm finally back. i have missed it here. i'm looking forward to the this year. lots of stuff brewing already. now i just need to get back on the foto horse! umm. yeah.

A bicycle courier passes by me with a big smile on his face. He saw that I was taking his photo and gave me a smile and a wave. Happy Guy. It was a nice day to be riding downtown. Not too cold and not snowing.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my flickr friends!
I made this cake for my son to give to his friends and their family. He wanted a nice way to say thanks to them for all they do for him throughout the year.
Pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese and triple chocolate cake with amaretto cream. Fondant fruits/veggies and gum paste flowers.
For me 2024 has been a stormy year with issues I never thought could happen. It shows how important it is to enjoy today. For my cape lovers I selected this picture. Maybe I posted it before. With a better camera it could have been a better photo. 2024 Will end in stormy weather and 2025 will start with what I call horizontal rain. I hope you will all find it in you to see beyond that and wonder at the beauty that life can offer if you are willing to see it.
To those that celebrate the holiday and to those that just celebrate beautiful life, may your day be filled with health and the wealth of family and friend.

McKenzie has had a wonderful day! Picked her up early from school. She got her favorite "veggie delite" subway sandwich. Then off to the apple store to get her a new
I-pod, then a movie...Ironman (wasn't as good as the first), last but not least dinner at Carrabba's (her favorite). I think she might be a little spoiled. :*)
Ayer hizo un año desde que llegó Kirakishou a casa (bueno, realmente desde que la abrí porque se quedó una semana encerrada la pobre xD pero estaba perfecta incluso así). Kirakishou fue el primer modelo de pullip que me gustó, así que fijaos lo feliz que pude ser cuando conseguí traerla a casa! Desde entonces es una de mis niñas especiales. Espero poder cumplir muchos años más con la pullip de mis sueños <3
