Due to the unusual cold weather we have had here in the UK this springtime, the elusive magical bunny who likes to leave lots of chocolates and eggs behind also left us a token of what he thought about our less than hospitable climate....nothing says it better than a snowbunny (no skiing jokes, please) His poor little paws must be freezing after travelling through Europe and the UK !
Anyway...HAPPY EASTER to all my Flickr contacts and friends. I hope it is a lovely, peaceful holiday for you and filled with fun for any children in your family. God bless you all.
Kila is two today and she is such a good sport to pose for her Mom with this silly hat on her head! Don't worry she got lots of presents from her Grandma Reva and Aunt Kathy..... and she got to do her favorite thing in the whole world.....go on a long walk with her Mom and Dad!!

In addition to flower gardens, dog runs, basketball courts, playgrounds, and grassy knolls for sunbathing, there is also a wide promenade where cyclists, roller-skaters, dog-walkers, lovers, joggers, parents, children, and any of the other millions of citizens of this city can stroll along at whatever pace suits them best. Some sit at benches along the edge of the river, staring at the roiling water caused by the swift current down the East River; others nod and smile as they watch sailboats, motorboats, yachts, barges, tour-boats, and barges ply their way up and down the river.

It was late and I was tired, so a lazy shot, deliberately slowed the shutter and light painted the gift box with flash at lowest.
My Younger son helped me to make the bow in the box.

My husband on his 68th birthday, yesterday. Taken at Spring Mill State Park, Mitchell, Indiana. He had cataract surgery almost two weeks ago, and is amazed at not having to wear glasses (he's worn them for 62 years) except for reading.
Drinking a cup of Coffee is kinda refreshing, it gives us the feeling that something fresh, something special, something new is gonna happen!
