Happy New Year everyone! I hope that 2016 will bring lots of great things for us all!
Nadeko got some new shoes and a "haircut" for the new year!
I admit that I've wanted this wig for her for years but now, seeing in short black hair is kind of strange ^^;
The shoes were a very tight fit, she can only wear them with these socks because they're so thin but she finally has white shoes and they're cute~
Nadeko is a VOLKS 2010 renewal standard SD10 Megu ball-jointed doll.
Her eyes and face-up are default, her wig is the LeekeWorld LR-092_L in NaturalBlack, her shoes are the LeekeWorld LS-025-G in white (with lacing removed), her socks are the K2 Tall socks (1/3) in white from Mint-on-Card, and her outfit is the VOLKS Blue Mille-Feuille Dress set from HTD Kyoto 12.

Happy Spring everyone! Yes, I know its a little bit late. This is from a Yoshino Cherry tree in my back yard. Its probably my favorite type of tree. With this shot I figured I'd try something a little different from what I'm used to.
My best friend's mother, one of the sweetest loves of my life, turns 89 today. For the tiny little thing that she is, she is still a force to be reckoned with. Stronger than most of us far younger than she, she's gone through 4 broken ribs, a broken hip and two hip replacement surgeries in just the last 7 months...but she's still here and smiling.
We often muse that, if it "takes a village to raise a child," then it takes a small city to keep our elderly loved ones safe and healthy. Approaching 90 is not for the faint hearted! And if not for a wonderful team of family, friends, nurses, caregivers and doctors, we would not be celebrating today. So thank you to the "team" and Happy Birthday, Liz! If you think today's party is wild, wait until you see next year's!! :) <3 <3

There was a lot of wind and shadow, but I'm happy with the result of this little bumblebee.
I'm not quite sure about the bumblebee species, it was little and round, almost like a fly.

Wens iedereen een goede Paasdagen toe! Na een week vol trieste gebeurtenissen, maar even wat vrolijke gezichten van de zaterdagmarkt voor Pasen. Hoe kleurrijk zijn ze uitgedost. De dames wilden best even poseren. De eerste foto is met een camera gemaakt, de andere met mijn mobieltje die daar niet veel voor onder doet als het helder weer is. Als dank kreeg ik alvast een ei.

I hope everybody is enjoying their Sunday! The weather in Maryland is beautiful .. a cool, sunny autumn day, and the leaves are so pretty.
I had some time to myself last night and was happy with this look .. makeup turned out well and I hoped the photo quality would capture that. Unfortunately, the pic is blurry, but that can sometimes not be such a bad thing! 😉
