Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter! It has been so much fun to watch you grow up into the incredible person that you have become. You have made my life so amazing in a million ways! Being your mother definitely brings more happiness. You still continue to amaze me with your brilliance and your singular approach to life! You really deserve the best as you give so much so unconditionally and I love you millions, my gorgeous girl. I am so proud of what you have achieved so far and the obstacles you have overcome. Enjoy your day, my lovely daughter and all your up and coming celebrations.

You are looking at this picture thinking well where is the bench well I have spent so much time sitting by that tree leaning on the trunk enjoying the quiet of the forest that I think it deserves an honourable mention as a place to sit, no actual structure just the ground and a very comfortable tree to lean against. this is where I should be.
Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. This is the day to enjoy family, friends and of course the food. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because the merchants haven't figured out a way to commercialize it. So it truly remains what it was meant to be, a day of thanksgiving. And I, for one, have a lot to be thankful for, including my wonderful Flickr friends. If you are not in the U.S., and not celebrating Thanksgiving, I wish you a wonderful and happy weekend.

Heaven knows I try.... I left the house with a bunch of props, several of which I somehow lost along the way... or didn't make it out of the house with.... then discovered that
I have not only lost my tripod... I also lost my remote for my camera (seriously.... just shoot me!) And...you, Susan.... would have expertly printed "Happy Birthday" digitally on the feathers...me, I had to sit at the kitchen table with little stamps and an ink pad and actually stamp the letters onto the feathers ... and somehow.... this is not the vision that I had in my head when I left the house ... but my wishes are sincere... Happy Birthday to one of the most talented, funny and kind hearted people that I have the privilege of calling my friend!! Love you!!
Oh....and if any of you out there would like to wish Susan a Happy Birthday... here is a link to her fundraising site for her upcoming trip to Africa.
