To all my friends and followers here on Flickr, I wish you happy happy holidays!
We'll be leaving soon for Christmas with my family and did not wanted to go before one last photo this year :)
In the meantime, there has been a new and unexpected adition to my dolly family. I'll let you guess what type of girl she might be eheh I'll be taking her with me to my grandparents' for some outside photos!
Also, I'll make a small appearance in the next Haute Doll Magazine, dedicated to independent designers :) I hope my photos look ok next to the other designers'!

As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, I have found
We may think that we're poor,
Feel like bums and insecure,
But in truth, our riches abound.
We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from God above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.

My friend Harpo9 had a birthday yesterday and I never got around to making him anything. Today while I was at work I took some time to make a card for him. I didn't have many colors to choose from here at my desk. I had a perm marker, a red, blue and black pen and a yellow highlighter. So I did the best that I could.

Now I've got my blouse back and she has disappeared until the next unplanned visit, I’m a happy girl.

Surprisingly, there was only one turtle sunning on this log. There was a shaded area off to the right with a few smaller logs sticking out of the water where there were lots of turtles crammed together trying to get the little bit of sunshine able to penetrate the surrounding brush and overhead trees.
About the time I spotted them they suddenly disappeared. Then my sister pointed out two kayaks coming around the bend which probably spooked them, because the fellow in this shot also vanished.
