Canon FDn 50mm 1.4 in APSC mode (which is equivalent to a 75mm in full frame)
In March 2019 when I got my first Sony Camera, I did not want to rush out and buy new Lenses, so I adapted my old analogue Canon FDn, Leica R and Tamron SP manual focusing prime Lenses, these I used for a couple of month, before I started to buy new Lenses for the Sony E-mount

The next photo in this series is the shot I was going for, but I guess I picked up the camera too early. Love the results of this long exposure happy accident though!

Flipped over so you can see all the swirly colors! I'm happy in this pic, even though I look unhappy. I just dyed my hair rainbow colors and it's still damp, but I like the results.
About the t-shirt. It's one of my favorite things ever. When work feels overwhelming, remember that you're going to die.
For the record, I'd like it to be noted that my ears are pierced three times, it's just that the second hole is directly above the first instead of further up on the ear like you'd expect. I did it myself when I was about 13, for shits and giggles and kept it all these years in spite of countless other piercings that I let go of. I don't know why I've held onto this one. Anyway, that's why my earlobe looks wonky.
By the way, I was forbidden by my mother to pierce anything after punching two holes in my ears at 11. Did it anyway and she never noticed. Typical. Award winning nurturer, that one.
Time once again to say goodbye to the old and usher in the new. This past year brought a lot of changes in my real life. The lost of my mom really took a dramatic total on me. Never the less, to all of my family and dear friends here inworld, I wish you a very safe and Happy New Year.
May it bring you happiness, good health, and much success.

2021 has been quite the year here in British Columbia. Heat domes, wildfires, atmospheric rivers, floods, Covid and it's many variants and lately Arctic outflow and bitter cold. But we survive and look forward to better days ahead in 2022. And yet, amidst it all, those who post here on Flickr have made us smile and laugh and stare in awe at the beauty around us. So sorry it has taken a few weeks to wish you all a Happy New Year. I just needed a wee break from being on the computer and internet to recharge my batteries. Things have been a bit hectic at home too and it was just hard to find the time. The pace has slowed a bit so hopefully will be back soon with new pictures taken. Happy Caturday 3/23/2019: "Dining In Style/Pretty Plates". This cup is usually a water drinking vessel for my cats, but I made it into a wet food/treat vessel for the photos... which given different setup, would have been better. But hey, we're running out of Caturday, especially now which is usually snooze time for these two.
Note: if you want your cats to drink out of a mug or other vessel, it should be wide enough that it doesn't pinch their whiskers much. They do not like that.
To sum up a complex human being into a small collection of photos and moments of an experience you witnessed is very difficult but I try to do it each time.

Happy 4th of July to my American friends! This double page spread was from Barbie Talk magazine, June/July1972.
No idea why these benches are covered like this or what they are covered with. This was taken in Hammond, MN. We used to live in this little village about forty five years ago. I'm pretty sure this building was the general store and also housed the post office at that time. A few years ago, the nearby Zumbro River overflowed and flooded the whole town doing a lot of damage. In fact the house we live in (first house we owned) is no longer there.
