Juniper needs to wear every kimono we have made, because I just can't get enough of her lovely gracefulness.
I originally designed this to be worn under uchikake, but the silk is so pretty I've used it more as a fudangi kimono on its own.
Vintage kimono silk resewn into doll kimono; made for Studio Bitamin's Oni dolls, Enmusubi and Enkiri.
This one is being worn as an obi-and furisode, but we've also dressed dolls in this kimono as an over-kimono (uchikake) with another kimono under it...which style do you like?
Looking cute in this tiny kimono. Handmade by me. The little purple flowers are called tsumami zaiku.
This kanzashi design is quite complex; maple leaves, hand dyed one "petal" at a time and arranged into a fall theme.

Handmade crane kanzash, a kind of Japanese fabric art. These are made out of the same silk that is used in making kimono. I used kimono fabric, which you can see in red and gold, and ivory habutae (the very light weight silk used in lining kimono; it is very expressive).
This kimono fabric is from a wedding kimono fabric...I only have a very small amount of this fabric, so this is a special design.

Luck, study amulets, or love?
(Traditionally there are health amulets too, or enmusubi amulets...or relationship-tying amulets. What does Enmusubi have?)
These are some of the smaller kanzashi I make...originally designed for 1/6th or 1/8th size dolls (fashion or tiny BJD), but I wanted to see how they'd look on a 1/4th BJD.
This pose was fun to try. It's based off of ukiyo-e wood block prints, but rotated. I'd love to recreate an entire ukiyoe at some point...
Aine is wearing a wig by Anastasia Fashiondoll (on instagram) and the kimono and hair ornaments are made by me. (Excepting the yellow resin kanzashi.)
Goldielocks would love to romp around the forrest in this hood. It shines as bright as her hair. This is a Large Adult. It can not be reproduced. It's a One of a Kind, Original!

My imda 3.0 and iplehouse kid share the same kimono, though the sleeve size actually varies just a little. The yukata is actally YOSD size, but the taller two can wear a short yukata style!
This kimono is deceptively simple on the top and sleeves, but from behind you can see this kimono is exquisitely painted. We were happy to buy it and put it together to be worn for years by various 1/3 dolls...
Anyway, who do you think wore it best?
