Handmade silk flowers for a lovely young lady who loves wisteria. She requested a more realistic placement of petals, so it has a unique trail of petals. ♥
This was the first 1/3rd size kimono I made! I originally started it in July 2018, and finished it in January 2019.
Also made this according to the measurements in my book.
Best fits my IOS Class 40 Claude (49.5cm) could be called tall msd...
I sew by hand.
This kimono was handdyed by artisans for people, and I repurposed it from a vintage kimono for doll wear. It is beautiful and truly stunning detail on the cherry blossom flowers.
This is a wedding kanzashi for a bride abroad. She has a lovely color scheme, and these lovely cherry blossoms suited her very well.

Hand made this past week..Santa doesn't have to go around in his union suit anymore..lol! I crafted his "elf boots" from a repurposed leather clothing item..
Nagajyuban is a kind of light weight (usually silk) kimono worn under the more ornate silk over-kimono. The nagajyuban is part of formal kimono wearing.
Handmade by me for very tall and skinny DC Kid dolls.
Nagajyuban is a silk undergarment ...it's a full kimono, but done in lighter weight silk with no dying.
This one is all hand-sewn so it is not the most strong garment, but it is really pretty.
This lovely gold goes well with maple leaves and ume, I think.
Never mind the stand... I wanted a sturdy support while spinning them around.

I made this lovely doll kimono from vintage kimono fabric. Lovely patterns and pastel colors.
Modeled on hybrid doll, body is Dream Valley.

had to photo shop out a distraction..hehe..love photo shop! I made this wishing well after a week long search for a well brought me home empty handed..I am glad i did..i am really happy with the results! Snow White's scullery maid outfit was made using the Dolly coordinates #8 Puppen dream's cover outfit pattern, It is amazing how fabrics can change an outfit/pattern so much

My best friend loves pirates so this was made special for her. We even have pirate names....she is Iron Mary and I am Black Anne :)

Handmade crane kanzash, a kind of Japanese fabric art. These are made out of the same silk that is used in making kimono. I used kimono fabric, which you can see in red and gold, and ivory habutae (the very light weight silk used in lining kimono; it is very expressive).
This kimono fabric is from a wedding kimono fabric...I only have a very small amount of this fabric, so this is a special design.
