The kimono is brilliant vermilion, dark green, and all hand painted by a traditional kimono artist.
The leaf kanzashi (hairpin) is hand dyed silk.
I made the kimono from the vintage kimono silk into doll kimono. ^o^
This butterfly brooch was constructed out of recycled materials, provided by yayascraps.etsy.com, as a part of Trashion Palchemy project! It's playing cards from the suit of diamonds, and a bit of gift card for accent on a pinback.
Etsy Trashion is having a palchemy challenge! We swaped names and sent each other a package of things that could have been considered trash. Now we get to create something fresh and new from them. We will all be listing our items in our Etsy shops and tagging them "Etsy Trashion".

The red kimono was one of the first ones I made; it's extremely pretty fabric, but simple, and pairs well with various over-layer kimono (uchikake).
The beautiful mask is made by my friend Follow the Wind (here on Flikr) made the lovely mask.
It makes both a cute hair accessory, and a lovely mask.
The wisteria is made of silk; handmade and hand dyed by me. We fold it one petal at a time.

Sorry about the picture quality but this is my first bear of the summer, her name is Hope. She has been made for a fundraising event in aid of ovarian cancer awareness and support. This is a cause close to my heart as my Grandmother (who brought me up) died of the disease and another relative recently finished treatment and I'm pleased to say is now in remission.
I'll be taking some better photos of her and her soon.
Because she's so sad that she didn't has a big sister (She doesn't think Nene' is her sister because she isn't tan)
I made the new dress to please her but seem like I'm not success.
Willow is holding a custom 11 cm paper lantern which reads "Hyakiyako" (百鬼夜行)
This kimono is deceptively simple on the top and sleeves, but from behind you can see this kimono is exquisitely painted. We were happy to buy it and put it together to be worn for years by various 1/3 dolls...
Anyway, who do you think wore it best?
Leaves are red momiji~ lovely again.

Momoko has such a small face! She looks alright on the pure nemo body.
Sort of showing the difference between different bodies, same kimono... pure nemo needs her obi retied, to make up for the smaller waist.

She looks like little spring child~ a 17cm doll in fantasy grey and strawberry hair. Her name is Rin.
I made the flowers in Rin's hair... the little flowers are about 1cm each, handdyed silk. The art is called "tsumami zaiku" and it is from folding tiny squares like origami. It's a Japanese technique, also called "kanzashi" in English.
For the Jane Austen ATC swap.
The quote is from Mansfield Park and reads:
Oh! Do not attack me with your watch. A watch is always too fast or too slow. I cannot be dictated by a watch!
