Hand dyed wisteria. I used the painting style dye, so it is like water color.

On kivaa ja kaunista antaa kukkia ylioppilaalle, mutta useimmat heistÀ taitavat arvostaa rahalahjaa enemmÀn. TÀssÀ ne on yhdistetty: unikko kolmesta vitosen setelistÀ, muutama helmi koristeena, sama rautalanka siteenÀ ja vartena. Arvaisinpa, ettÀ tÀssÀ rahat sÀÀstyvÀt siiheksi, kun niille on tosiaan tarvista.

Bank-notes, wire and beads make a flower for graduate. :-)

These are actually more than a hundred squares folded one at a time to make petals, and then arranged into wisteria shapes. 💜

Made for 1/4th size dolls.

Flower focal glass bead necklace. The flower is a lampwork glass bead made by me.

Closeup of Kosuzu's pretty geta.

Wedding kimono makes a pretty furisode.

A nice view of the sakura kanzashi I made. These are the "medium" size doll kanzashi I made. Looks very sweet on 1/3 dolls. I dye my kanzashi silk in a variety of shades of pink for a beautiful color palette.

Merry Doll Round Zuri, our Ariadne, is a lovely doll. Very study stander and beautiful in any kimono.

Do you like her golden hairpins?

The fox mask is in demand... Cat wants to see it.

Miyabi and Choco are surrounded by flowers. ♄ Most oft hem are person-sized clips and pins, but they're wearing plum blossom kanzashi.

I made Miyabi's kimono, Choco's lacey trousers, and all the kanzashi.

Cozy meets practical in this Fae inspired design.

It acts as both a Hat and Scarf!

If you get too warm, it flips down like a Hood.

You can even tie the scarflette behind your back so you can adventure all day without worrying about your hat!

An added bonus is that you won’t get saturated no matter how torrential the downpour!

You can even tie the tails to make a Satchel.

Tigerlily in a Fairy Tale Fibers Hood...thinking about mischeif i'm sure...

...I actually haven't designed something for Emery yet, this was originally made for a bigger 1/3rd size doll. it was the second one I made, so I think it fits the smaller 1/3rd better. ♄

I made a small pink kanzashi out of kimono remnants.

Fairyland PukiFee and Lati White SP. They look cute together~

This is another take on my wedding design for sakura...there's seven lucky sakura, and long trail of petals with just a touch of pink at the bottom. This one is a grand design, 10" (25cm) long.

This is a wedding kanzashi for a bride abroad. She has a lovely color scheme, and these lovely cherry blossoms suited her very well.

Handmade by me. All silk~

Pastel oiran would love to meet a pastel geiko now. 😁

The lovely Juniper looks wonderful in blue and coral.

I just adore pomegranates. Bitter-sweet and maybe a touch sour? And such a pretty shape...

Pretty alpaca wig and wisteria kanzashi~ so cute.

Holly is in the booth at Faerie Worlds 2007. Delightful hoods all around her!

Rin looks so cute against the starlight pattern. ♄

I made the flowers in Rin's hair... the little flowers are about 1cm each, handdyed silk. The art is called "tsumami zaiku" and it is from folding tiny squares like origami. It's a Japanese technique, also called "kanzashi" in English.

This kimono is deceptively simple on the top and sleeves, but from behind you can see this kimono is exquisitely painted. We were happy to buy it and put it together to be worn for years by various 1/3 dolls...

Anyway, who do you think wore it best? Willow is modeling on the Myou Doll 1/3 body.

Leaves are red momiji~ lovely again.

I originally designed this to be worn under uchikake, but the silk is so pretty I've used it more as a fudangi kimono on its own.

Keittiön kaapinovien uusi ilme - cupboard doors in my kitchen

* rispaantuneet lastulevyiset kaapinovet

* lehdistÀ revittjÀ kuvia (Hesarin kuukausiliite on hyvÀ kuvien lÀhde, samaten Nyt-liite. Paksuhko paperi on parempi kuin ihan ohut. VÀhemmÀn kiiltÀvÀ on parempi kuin enemmÀn kiiltÀvÀ.)

* vedellÀ laimennettua liimaa (noin 15 ruokalusikallista liimaa puoleen litraan vettÀ; ErikeeperiÀ / maitoliimaa / puuliimaa / PVA-liimaa)

* lakkaa (7 kerrosta)

* aikaa ja kÀrsivÀllisyyttÀ

* kohtuullisen pölytön työskentelytila.

I made these "new" doors (coated the old, ugly and shabby ones with paper, glue and varnish) for our cupboards 17 years ago. Now it is time to renovate the whole kitchen, but i do not know, what to do with these old doors. I like them too much to just throw them away...

We bought some vintage kimono fabric that was too old to dye in the traditional, painstaking methods, so we got it at vintage prices...and decided to dye it in a beautiful mint with rainbow accents!
