Cadet Monica H. Sowinski and Cadet Nicholas R. Webster receive the LTG Harold "Hal" G. Moore Warrior Athlete of Excellence Award 7 November 2018 inside the Haig Room at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
The award recognizes one male and female First Class Cadet each year. The recipients are extraordinary cadets who best exemplify the qualities of LTG Moore and the tenents of the warrior ethos on the athletic playing fields and in the DPE boxing and combatives program.

Ovation of the Seas is a Quantum-class cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean International (RCI) and the third ship of her class. The Quantum class is the third largest class of cruise ships behind MSC Cruises's Meraviglia class and Royal Caribbean International's Oasis class by gross tonnage.[5] The Ovation mainly sails from Tianjin during the northern summer season and repositions to Sydney during the southern summer season.
MS Noordam is a member of Holland America Line's Vista class, and the fourth Holland America Line vessel to bear the name. The ship was christened on February 22, 2006, in New York City by the actress Marlee Matlin.[2] Noordam is a sister ship of MS Oosterdam, MS Westerdam, MS Zuiderdam and P&O Cruises' MS Arcadia (originally ordered by the HAL, but sold to P&O). The prefixes of the four ships' names represent the four directions of the compass in Dutch.

WBAP-FM held Hal's Angels auction Christmas 2006. Bidding on these great "HalBay" holiday gift items from WBAP sponsors created donations for The Coalition To Salute America's Heroes.
Hal Baer's '69 Mustang Mach 1 is considered by many to be the first genuine "pro-touring" car! This 351W-powered hotrod has been owned by Hal since 1973 and features a custom 3-link rear suspension, Baer Brakes (of course), and is one of the first pro-touring machines to run a true one piece forged monoblock wheel. His Forgeline GA1R wheels are 18-inch in the front, 19-inch in the rear, and finished in the Silver powder coat.

btw don't go to the festival on the long weekend - massively crowded !! After an hour I didn't feel like fighting anymore to get photos of the works and people lol.
