Van dinsdag 9 april tot zaterdag 13 april mochten één van mijn treinenspottende maten en ik er een paar dagen op uit van onze vrouwen om treinen te gaan spotten in Oost-Duitsland en Tsjechië ;-). In Duitsland stond de omgeving van Bernburg op het programma. Binnenkort wordt daar veel klassieke beveiliging vervangen door moderne en er rijden nog veel goederentreinen met de prachtige Ludmilla’s.
Wij waren op woensdag en donderdag actief rond Bernburg. Er reden een aantal interessante goederentreinen. De dag begon op woensdag al goed. We stonden ’s ochtends om zeven uur in Baalberge. Een klein knooppunt ten zuiden van Bernburg. We stonden er nog maar net toen we in de verte de prachtige 232 088-5 zagen aankomen. Onze verwachting was dit deze richting Köthen zou rijden om daar een trein op te halen. De loc ging echter richting Könnern. In Könnern spraken we de vriendelijke machinist die ons vertelde dat hij twee sets ketelwagens ging halen bij de suikerfabriek. Dit leverde een aantal fraaie platen op in Könnern waar de tijd gelukkig nog een beetje stil staat gezien de verschillende fraaie motieven die nog mogelijk zijn.
Woensdag 10 april halverwege de middag konden we de 232 088-5 van Salzland Rail Service vastleggen met de volledige set ketelwagens bij vertrek uit Bernburg. In Bernburg is momenteel nog de klassieke beveiliging in bedrijf.

Die Brunnenplastik befand sich seit der Wende in einem Depot, dann auf dem Hof der Moritzburg bis sie gegen vielerlei Protest per Volksabstimmung auf dem Marktplatz installiert wurde.

Ook de nieuwe Centrale Hal van het Tweede Kamercomplex wordt aangepast aan de tijd. Alles wat blijft is goed ingepakt.
Deze is van de andere kant geschoten.
Tijdens de Open Monumentendag 2024 mocht ik weer even binnen kijken.
Het verschil met vorig jaar was gigantisch. De normale verlichting was overal uit. Hier en daar een felle bouwlamp. Kunstwerken afgeschermd.
Vorige keer mocht je het hele complex door, inclusief Eerste Kamer, oude Tweede Kamer.
Deze keer was alleen de nieuwbouw van de Tweede Kamer en het voormalig Ministerie van Justitie open voor publiek.

Dutch painter, almost a contemporary of Rembrandt, worked in the Netherlands during the so-called golden age of their painting. Considered by many to be second only to Rembrandt himself in terms of stylistic, formal, and compositional innovations, Frans Hals was one of the most prolific painters of the Dutch period and is the author of some of the best-known portraits of the Baroque, becoming a key point in the history of physiognomy.
The young man turns his gaze directly toward the approaching viewer. He is seated in front of a gray background and with a proud gesture has placed his left hand on his chest, pointing to himself.
