GUYS ON BIKES AND MASTURBATING BIRDS
I'm making a small magazine with the theme "Guys on bikes and masturbating birds".
It will be a zine with drawings from a lot of different artists.
Every artist have to make two drawings - one where the artist has to interpret the theme "Guys on bikes" and on where the artist interprets the theme "Masturbating birds"
If you want to participate then write me a message.
All drawings have to be in black/white - NO COLOURS and they have to be on a piece of A4 paper.
All drawings have to be finished and send to me on march 22.
You can send them in a letter or you can scan them and send them to my mail.
But write me if you want to participate.
Everybody who participates gets 2 copies of the magazine, 1 poster and some stickers.
This is a special message from Chevron and Muppet Sam the American Eagle for those weirdos Andy & Mike of the Yes Men.
Chevron recently rolled out their ridiculous new "We Agree" advertising campaign. And they were immediately punk'd by political pranksters The Yes Men.
Now the Yes Men have put out a call for more spoofs, mash-ups and remixes of Chevron's print ads and TV commercials. This is one of my contributions.
Find out more and join the fun here:

And these are the real ads. Chevron must think we're all stupid:

This is kind of an odd portrait of the Green Hermit, as the bird is veering away from the camera, sideways. That foreshortens the lower body and tail - it is a very large hummingbird.

or, maybe a girl; who knows with magpies....
It's already up to +26C and going to +31C or so today. A perfect way to cool off and have some fun.
I think this is the same little guy who had some fun with the underground sprinklers last week. He was in the front yard when they popped up and he chased all around several of them and jumped in and out of the main spray ...following it around the yard.... it was pretty entertaining.
This morning, I was watering a small area in the back and heard a young one so went to look...and, sure enough there he was ...having a splash in the sprinkler and even in the wet grass... pretending the whole lawn was his own private birdie bath.... every so often he sqeaked with total delight. You just knew he was having great fun....
He stayed for quite some time as I had to get the camera and change lenses and find a vantage point and adjust the blinds, etc....he would go in and out of the main spray area and even onto the mulch to jump around after getting good and wet... then, back in he went...for more showering ... he loves that sprinkler. ...
Later he came back (with a friend or sibling) and wondered where it went...he marched around the whole back yard looking for 'his' toy..... I'm sure he was having to explain to the other one that he was not telling tales...it really had been here ....
On my way home from yet another week long meeting. Weather was horrible, so I stopped about half way home to get some dinner, there was a local pet store next door. Stopped in, "just to look". Just looking turned into holding several. This little guy was the smallest and most relaxed when I picked him up. Needless to say, he had me hooked. After a couple hour drive to get home, he is settling into his new digs. He hasn't told me his name yet...usually takes a week or so......
For me the coolest guy of 2016 - Tenzin Dahkling In The House! One of a collection of 5 dolls - two guys and three girls - in the Color Infusion line called "In the Mix" each representing a different musical style or trend, this guy immediately shot to Number 1 in my Charts! I love his face, his glorious hair, his whole outfit - everything! And I finally got the chance to buy him! Yay!!!
Hey guys!
As a celebration of my achievement of 400 Flickr followers, I will be holding a contest. The rules are pretty simple.
1. Build a vignette of your favorite movie scene out of Lego. It has to be from a movie, not a TV show or such.
2. Post it in the group I am about to make.
3. Build as many as you want!
4. Deadline is May 1!
5. Tag me in any photo you submit to the contest so I can see it ASAP!
Good luck to you all, and happy building!
-Patrick
Sunny Monday mid-morning lunch.
This guy provided some great photo ops--right in my front yard.

...went on a photo-shoot alone to the Callahan House, no DH, no puppy, and we had a Girls' Morning Out...and everyone had a great time! Sun forgot her shoes, but she said that she likes to go barefoot in such hot weather!
Sun, Alco, Parco, Angel, Adeline, and Holly all had a great time!
Macro photographing of black and white film negative madness!
Conversion to positive using reverse button in Gimp gives more correct result, but there just is something in this failure to do it manual with the curve tool in NX2 I like...
Yup, I know, I am crazy...
