Guy Arab IV UFJ 292 with bodywork by Massey was new to Exeter Corporation and later ran for an independent operator in County Durham.
A nice touch is the Indian warrior head on top of the radiator, which was a feature of buses built by Guy in the nineteen fifties.

Experimenting today with shooting RAW. The C-Lux has an idiosyncratic RAW format that Apple doesn’t support (grrrrr—but Lightroom on iPad does, as of recently), but the camera itself supports RAW processing under user control. All the appropriate basic functionality is available, but I still did not quite recover detail in the brightest highlights. Otherwise, pretty good, and clearly an improvement over the default JPG conversion. Since I have been shooting for 8 months and have only filled half the 64GB SD card in the camera, I think I’ll switch from JPG to RAW+JPG, and dig detail out of the highlights & shadows before conversion when necessary.

We were challenged to build a moc using only the pieces you can find in a certain list of sets, but with a prize limit.

I used parts from the following sets: Good Guy (of course), Onua Nuva, Vorzakh, Jaller Mahri, Chirox, Sidorak and Rotor (2x).

Golden Gai district in Shinjuku, Tokyo is only a couple of blocks square, but packed with tiny, slightly ramshackle but buzzing bars. While several bars welcome ‘foreigners’, others don’t. There are also strict rules like the those listed on the door. Smoking, for instance is strictly prohibited outside. This activity must be undertaken indoors.

This guy was playing with a small jazz group in NYC's Washington Sq Park .... it was on one of those rare occasions then when I carried around my camera ... so although I've been playing my horn since age 11... I was more excited about making the image than with listening to his playing ... anyway ... all this time later I have absolutely no recollection about how good he was ... but ... I still have the portrait ....
Although he might be sporting an intimidating expression, this juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron was actually a milquetoast being harassed by an adult bird in the area. On Horsepen Bayou.

After working all night and with clouds rolling in I was hesitant to make the play on these guys this morning. I'm glad I did as the sun poked through and made it worth my time.
Taken from our boat as we went with about 500 others on a harbour cruise. These people were just sitting at a cafe as we pulled out from the wharf.

Back in 2006, Laura and I were excited with our 'aproaching' first-trip to Australia, and tragically 4 months before, Steve Irwin, aka 'The Alligator Man', was tragically killed by a Manta Devil Ray's barbed tail (through his heart)... We were heartbroken for his wife and 2 children, Bindy and Robert! - Fast-forward 16 years to last night and we see a show on TV, "Crikey, It's The Irwins!" Robert was moving ten large alligators 600 miles to another location, for conservation purposes. - It was great to see them all! They all are doing well! Bindy & Robert are as adorable as when they were kids!]
The American alligator is a large crocodilian reptile endemic to the southeastern United States. Adult male American alligators measure 11 to 15 ft in length and can weigh up to 999 lbs. Females are smaller measuring around 9.8 ft. The American alligator inhabits freshwater wetlands such as marshes and cypress swamps from Texas to North Carolina. It is distinguished from the sympatric American crocodile by its broader snout, with overlapping jaws and darker coloration, and is less tolerant of saltwater but more tolerant of cooler climates than the American crocodile, which is found only in tropical climates.
Alligators are apex predators and consume fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Subsequent conservation efforts have allowed their numbers to increase and the species was removed from the endangered species list in 1987. The species is the official state reptile of three states: Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi U.S.A.

The little guy, soft and sweet,
often passed buy with little way
to show its talent in a tweet.
People rushing around
the world,
ideas pop up from within
an idea storm.
In the background
a face dose form,
Nature's face's,
no longer void,
now swarm.
Taking on the world's disease's,
it's visual catch's one off guard as
would your sneeze's.
Perhaps one day when the little guy
gets their chance,
the world will see Nature's Face's dance.
