tough guy

I bought this laughing guy back in 1983 – it was manufactured in 1979 – and he laughed like there was no tomorrow and his laugh made everybody laugh too. However over the decades he lost his voice – all the parts and the motor inside his body gone corroded badly. I don’t know if I can fix him but I will try! I want to hear him laughing again! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

London & North Western Railway Company Class 47/7 47705 was recorded at Crewe station while on standby duties.

Delivered from Brush Falcon Works in March 1964, D1957 became 47261, then 47554 prior to its later conversion to a push-pull example for service with ScotRail. As well as standard blue, it carried ScotRail and Network SouthEast liveries prior to Parcels red/dark grey. The black livery and name 'Guy Fawkes' were applied when owned by Waterman Railways. The locomotive was later converted to become 57303 and is now a member of the DRS fleet.
