After weeks of preparation, I had my annual garden tour yesterday (3-23-13). What a fun time!

My parents to my left with my brother on the end in the red shirt...on the other end his wife and then their two boys.

Mattress Guys (4,614 square feet)

4340 George Washington Memorial Highway, Heritage Square, Yorktown, VA

This store opened in April 2008 and closed in fall 2013; it was originally a McDonald's, which opened in summer 1979 and relocated here in fall 2002. It became a Mattress USA in 2003, which closed in November 2007, and an Eastern Floor Covering in February 2014, which closed in August 2025. The building was demolished in January 2026.

If you look real close, you can see the labelscar of the McDonald's logo next to the window (one of these). That window used to be the first drive-thru window, and the second was located under the extended part that the mattress store now uses as an alcove.
