I'm feeling a bit blue now. I just this evening learned from an old friend, who just found out, that my first 'boyfriend' died five years ago. We went steady in 6th grade and he gave me a necklace with a little fake silver charm of a surfer, which I hung on a nail on my bedroom wall when I wasn't wearing it. The going steady only lasted about a month. It ended when a bunch of us went to a house that was being built and played spin the bottle. When it was our turn to kiss, I got scared and ran all the way home! We stayed friends till we were about twenty and even became next door neighbors in junior high. Here he is in 1968 when we were in high school. Everybody thought that with his curly hair and strong profile, he looked like a greek god. Rest In Peace, Guy.
So that morning when it was so foggy? I ran into this guy walking along the bike trail. He was a wee bit intoxo from cheap wine (you could smell the wine on his breath). It was like 8:30 in the morning, and he was drunk. Still, he was a happy drunk and was more than willing to let me take his photo.

Dr evil has something glowing in his flask. Must be toxic and radioactive; that's why he has a smile on his face. Hazmat guy on the other hand is not that happy with the situation. This clearly violates several health and safety rules!

My sister, Jean, scanned this old photo of the three of us. My brother Guy is about 2 years old in this making Jean (next to him) about 5 and me about 8. We were sitting on my mother's hope chest with a chenille blanket under us. Ma would put our hair up in rag curlers in order to get the spiral curls.
I bought this laughing guy back in 1983 – it was manufactured in 1979 – and he laughed like there was no tomorrow and his laugh made everybody laugh too. However over the decades he lost his voice – all the parts and the motor inside his body gone corroded badly. I don’t know if I can fix him but I will try! I want to hear him laughing again! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
