I ended up breaking one of the eggs "head" as it rolled out of the carton. A bit of light fun for the challenge of out of place.

You know the member of the family who's perpetually miserable and never stops complaining?
Perhaps get this printed onto their next birthday card!!
A grackle feeds in the grass a little too close to some Canada Geese chicks and gets repeatedly chased away by mom and dad.
The poor Grackle wanted nothing to do with either the chicks or mom and dad but apparently the movement of all the geese in the area was kicking up some delicious insects. Too bad for him he couldn't get close enough to enjoy the banquet.
I realize over time I have gotten quite a little Grumpy Cat Collection... First I got the tiny Needle Felted girl to ease my pain when I missed out on Miss Ixnay...Then Came the art from my lovely friend Punky Blythster and I found a couple of mugs last weekend :D
And Of course Ixnay Finally joined the Lawdeda Clan <3 So happy!

Crossed paths with a cute (albeit grumpy-looking) juvenile Gopher Tortoise at a local park. He/she was busy munching away on greenery and was relatively unphased by my presence, pausing only for a second as I knelt on the ground with my camera. I snapped a handful of photos and quietly observed from a distance. And before I moved on, I made sure to tell him/her how cute they were. 😍
The Gopher Tortoise (Gopherus polyphemus) is a native species to Florida and is protected by law. Although it doesn’t happen often because human development encroaches on their habitat, it’s always a delight to see these creatures in the wild. 🐢
