Wer hat mir eigentlich so die Maschine abgewürgt zum Jahreswechsel? ...

Ich hoffe ich komme jetzt endlich wieder auf einen grünen Zweig. Das Bild ist von letztens. Danach bin ich nicht mehr aus dem Haus gekommen, blieb mir immerhin das ganze Schneechaos erspart ....

und zum Geburtstag musste ich auch keine Spendierhosen anziehen ... hahaha ...

Nee ehrlich, ohne Galgenhumor geht das gerade nicht mehr,

hab bald alles durch, von unten bis oben, fehlt nur noch das Hirn ;-) ...

Musste noch einmal eine Auszeit nehmen ... nein und ich war nicht übermütig. Ich hätte am Montag letzter Woche wieder arbeiten wollen/sollen und bin nur im Schneckentempo am Sonntag den Stadtbichl (Stadthügel) rauf mit meiner besseren Hälfte, die auch nicht fit war ... nun denn und dann kam wieder eins zum anderen. Morgen letzter Tag mit Antibiotikum und dann wieder Aufbau, alles und ganz, ganz langsam ... schnaufe gerade sowieso wie eine alte Dampflock, da geht auch nur noch langsam ...

True story: on this beautiful sunny Sunday morning I cruised by to check out this fellow for my 29th picture. I paused for a four way stop intersection and glanced around for an empty parking spot.

A motorist, with a temperament similar to this fellow's, rolled up to my rear bumper and laid a heavy hand on his truck's horn for a deafening three second blast. As I often do with grumpy drivers, I rolled down my window and gave him a big friendly wave in response. :-)

Ya gotta love the wide stance and the grumpy face that this American Toad is giving me as I photograph it straight on!

I encountered this amphibian as I was raking my parent's springtime lawn this past April.

When you get on the ground at eye to eye level, it becomes a different world and one we rarely experience. That's why I like macro photography so much...

I don't think he likes having his picture taken.
