Scytodes thoracica, a pretty tiny spider with a size ranging from 3 to 6 mm, that's about 0.12 to 0,24 inches.

This grumpy looking fella is a curve-billed thrasher. Despite his rather downturned beak, his song is fairly cheery. That long curved bill comes in handy when foraging for insects desert environments.

A little Northern Mockingbird does not look like he was happy that his hiding spot was found.
