In a fur suit
Jasper is a dog dog. Jackson is a grumpy little man in a fur suit, vexed because he doesn’t have thumbs.
Jackson excels at making grumpy little noises and flinging himself to the ground. He’s very much like a toddler. Or a grumpy little man. When I’m taking outfit pictures in the backyard, he does his best to put his grumpy face in the background until I finally give him the attention he wants.
Jacket, XOXO (thrifted). Sweater, H&M (thrifted). Dress, swap. Belt, thrifted. Boots, Fergie. Earrings, flea market. Scarf, gift.
Last week for the first time both my nephew and niece slept over…and man was it a disaster or what! Not for them: they had fun and they didn’t want to go home the next day! My nephew even told his mom on the phone to do not come pick them up! But for me it was such a relief when my sister and her husband finally came to pick them up! I was planning to celebrate my freedom by watching TV but I was so exhausted and sleepy that I could not stay awake for more than an hour after they left!
My sister and her husband were so happy though when they came to pick them up! For the first time in six years I see my brother-in-law’s face shining with energy!
I took this photo of Lulu (Rachel) in the morning while she was “colouring”, she told me that she was drawing a “butterfly”…needless to say nobody could’ve guessed what she was drawing if she didn’t say so! She was grumpy that morning; does it show on her face in this photo?
Of course, if my sister sees her daughter’s picture online with messy hair she will freak out! She always makes sure they are super clean and their appearance is in order. But I think this photo shows Lulu in a different kind of beauty with her messy hair, and so I like it! :)
PS: I wish my nephew would let me photograph him, but he doesn’t let me, and even when I try to he always turns his face away! May be one day I will get a nice capture of him.

FOR MOVEMBER.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's suicide.
I now have taken on the challenge, one photo each day: a month of men with moustache and beard, LOL, HELP, will I make it?

I'll be heading North to Cairns today for a 3 day dive trip at the outer barrier reef. I'm incredibly excited because this is one of the things I had wanted to do while in North Queensland.

After a day of riding and exploring to Oregon Butte, Andy and I rode back to camp and took the two remaining horses to water down to the springs... We past these two, Grumpy old men sitting out enjoying the sun and having a,"cold one."
When we were visiting at Picket Springs I looked up and saw the shadows and these two grumpy old men staring out over the horizon we comented that this looked like something right out of an old western. I,"captured" this image of them unknowingly from the saddle...They could be a couple of old outlaw bankers from the upcoming remake of, "True Grit" due out Christmas Day at a movie Theater near you..."Fill your Hands Pilgrim" These two varmits have been hanging out at Bear Wallow Springs about six miles up the way, just below Diamond Peak. At dawn on this cold blistery moning they were Pack'n meat down the mountain. I asked to make them famous...but they declined...See the big one glaring at me...I think he is about to, "Reach for it"...
