Got nowt else to photograph and even snuggle-brothers Chewie & Midge won't pose for me. For the 4th time in a row I didn't see or hear any sign of foxes tonight, not sure it's worth carrying on with. Sorry for being miles behind again, just having a good old fashioned sulk
was out of his enclosure for a moment while he got fresh water. He's a Banded Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum cinctum). Gila monsters are venomous and are native to the Southwestern United States. A peptide in their venom has been synthesized into an insulin replacement treatment for diabetes. "Grumpy is most likely about 22 years old. Gila monsters may live more than 30 years. Photo by Frank.
Definitely my grumpiest couple, Vaughn and Nomiki. I haven't taken pics of them together in ages! Vaughn needs to be completely restrung, with new elastic and all, and poor Nomi's wig is getting old and showing the cap too much in his part. Unfortunately, it's a long sold out Luts wig. Maybe I could get something to replace it from Crobidoll, in their 8/9 section.
Anyway, I do love these two boys and their story, and really should try to do more with them! Guess I need to dig out my extra elastic so that posing Vaughn isn't such a big fat pain in the ass. >_<;
I took this photo of a cow that was walking around my grandmas farm in NSW. it stared with a grumpy face straight into my camera lens. Taken with a Pentax K3 and a 55-300 sigma lens

Hahaha I just came across this old pic on my PC! Dolly Baroque and I 3 or 4 years ago.
It looks like she is telling me off! It has to be my all time favourite snapshot hahaha!
Cafe' Grumpy! Just dig the lighting and the fact that the one chair at this convention was taken up by a sign.
We had the previliege to see the young seals that had just been born and grumpies having scrapes at Donna Nook seal colony on the East coast of England
The Grampian Deltic started in Edinburgh and headed via Stirling to Aberdeen, returning via Kirkcaldy. 55009 is seen near Sighthill on 12th December 1981.
Luckily I chose not to travel on this and only took a couple of photos, as the steam heating apparently didn't reach some or all of the stock, leading to some grumpy participants.
This scene has completely changed since then, the fields in the foreground are now covered by the Edinburgh City Bypass and the Hermiston Gait shopping centre, and the Deltic is passing what is now Edinburgh Park station and tram interchange.

Today I received #lo-mob as gift, I was so happy...even if I am also "grumpy" for other thousand reasons. Anyway this is my Self-portrait of the week, shot and edited with my new, amazing app #lo-mob!

He just found out he's on Santa's naughty list.
Yes, that's frost and ice on his back.
The background is all frost covered grasses.
This Grumpy Monk Belgian IPA from Samuel Adams is part of a mixed case containing 4 different beers that I bought at Costco about 4 weeks ago. All 4 beers were decent, but this one had the best label.
Strobist info: This is a composite of two separate images .... one with rim lighting and one with just the labels. It took about 15 minutes of post processing in PS CC to combine the two and clean up the black background. Down below in the comments is a picture I took that shows a similar setup. The only difference in the methods is that for this one I set the bottle on a mirror so that I could get a little rim lighting underneath the bottle. To get the rim lighting, I placed the bottle up against a piece of black foam core that was leaning up against a 24 inch softbox containing a YN560 in manual mode. The strobe was triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
I enjoy good beer, and appreciate a clever or interesting label. Other pictures that I've taken of beer can be seen in my Beer album.
