For those of you with kids of a certain age, you'll be aware of the grumpy old troll who lives under the bridge. Well, according to my kids thats me. In this case I decided to be a grumpy old troll who is upside down on top of the bridge.

The flower reminds me of my daughter favourite movie 'Dora the Explorer'. One of the character is the Grumpy Old with big mustache and very long beard :)

Rufous-tailed Tailorbird (Orthotomus sericeus) - Poring Nature Reserve, Malaysia
A grumpy looking tailorbird that wasn't thrilled with the night time attention it was receiving. This small bird is found in subtropical and tropical forests as well as mangroves and ranges from Myanmar and Thailand down to Singapore through Borneo and into the Philippines. These birds get their name from the way they build their nests, the grass nest is cradled within a large leaf whose edges are folded and sewn together with spiders silk or plant fibers.

My daughter bought this for him as a Christmas present, it made me laugh. When he's grumpy I shake the tin at him but he just gets even more grumpy! It's still empty, he hasn't paid any fines yet.
